Maybe the priest should be able to somehow remove a single soul link periodically from the Necromancer, and maybe deploy a temporary debuff. But doing something like this would make the Necromancer easier when you're using it with the villager mod, and harder when you're playing it standalone so this would require some balancing.

What if Minecraft had wizards They come in multiple forms with power levels Under the ocean, on the beach, or in ice caps is the water and ice wizard which can create whirlpools trapping you, water blasts. Waves that sink you, and ice that traps you. But if it gets to far away from water unless it’s raining they will have to create water which is limited especially in the desert or pull it towards them In the caves, desert, and mountains are earth wizards which grab blocks and fling them, they can also grab structures to cause more damage, they can create earth armor which is destroyed better with a pickaxe, they can summon earth golems which are stronger like iron golems but dont have as much HP. But water will cause them to lose earth their armor will turn to mud slowing them, their objects will be decaying and more. The wind wizard will spawn in deserts, mountains, fields, flower areas, and more. They make gusts of wind which make melee impossible the gusts can be big areas or small with high damage and launch you 30 blocks high. Arrows can be flung back but after that they have a cool down. They have a special attack a one quarter health the tornado it lifts every block entity and more in a 100 blocks long and wide 50 blocks up, and 30 down they get hit by things in it and after they reach the top gusts himself above and slams everything down with extreme force. Once he dies he will blast everything away. The lightning wizard spawns in storms. He can summon lightning. supercharged creepers, shoot electric bolts from his hands has a shield of electricity, and can even travel so fast and powerful while leaving an electric trail behind. After he hits half health he makes blue lightning with power and speed twice as strong shields, near teleportation and more. At 10% he gains black lightning with 5x the power and speed of blue lightning he can create a circle of lightning which summons a massive bold in that are which heals him, and nearly kills the player. After he dies the lightning turns red and a massive discharge happens after 5 seconds it will create a instant kill pulse with 10 block range. In the nether there is the fire/lava wizard which can create fire streams, massive fire balls, lava waves, lava shields, blaze summoning, and more. At half health the fire gets blue and it is twice as strong but uses enough power to start hurting him. At 10% he gains neon blue fire which burns blocks, spreads like fire in beta, and a attack that surrounds the area in blue fire until it summons a blue skull the size of ghast which has an instant kill fire ball and more. After he dies he turns white with white fire engulfing the area with a massive instant kill and it makes that area in the nether able to sustain water. Like if you want this to happen

I have suggestion: Villages should have random skill drops. I think that Villages with skill level 100 are too OP, and intelligence is not important as it should be. Solution for this is that Villagers will randomly lose some of their skill in the current profession. This will happen more often if villager is unhappy, an he will lose more skill higher his skill level is. Skill drops will make intelligence more important, because higher it is, faster will villager get to 100 again

@@mihailoradovanovic7283 i honestly am inclined to disagree until we actually get to try the mod, because we have no way of knowing how hard/slow it will be to get that far, or how good a village at that level is maybe instead have jobs like smithing, guards, and mining have a chance to get injuries that have a small chance of effecting their skills, but i wouldn't support the idea of completely random drops for everyone even better though so no one loses their work to RNG, have higher level villagers be more needy/have higher requirements, and/or lose happiness faster/more easily and gain it slower, as if their life has gotten too good and their expectations have increased

a logical item would be his robe. makes the player invisible to the undead, and provides slowfall. another would be a spellbook that casts one of his spells, either the summon spell or the soul link spell, for the player. either a tome or a staff of bone, though thematically the staff would fit better with summoning. they should be fueled by experience (seems to be the magic mojo used to enchant, so why not other magics) perhaps a necklace or ring that gives immunity to the wither effect in exchange for durability? some bottles of enchanting (souls in a jar), bones, rotten flesh, some paper and books as stuff he used for his studies.

The problem is that if it's a standalone mod and the player doesn't have Villager Overhaul installed, they'd get nothing for the effort. I like the idea of the totems of undying in villager inventory slots, and the idea of the magic weapons (summoning staff or scroll/tome), though that'd be tricky to code so that the minions don't immediately target the player (perhaps a new entity type to distinguish behavior?) - though clearly Tango has the know-how to code these things and make them work.

What if Minecraft had a mecha dragon? Now that’s something I would enjoy to see, it would definitely be a spawnable boss using a brand new craft able item: The mechanical skull. Attacks: Flying attack: the dragon would fly in a circle in the air, but when it stops it unleashes a powerful gust of wind capable of sending debris your way, and if you are on a building in the area you’ll get flung in the air dealing 58 points of damage if not wearing feather falling or the slow falling potion applied. Claw attack: The dragon has metal sharp claws capable of destroying leather, iron and gold armour, so either diamond armour or the new armour; netherite would be recommended when fighting. It has a uncommon chance of swooping in with its claw out which deals roughly about 31 points of damage. Wing attack: So this attack will be the most destructive attack, the dragon will swoop in with its wings fully extended causing demolition to tall buildings, if it hits you, you’ll be flung backwards not like the flying attack where you go flying in the air you’ll go roughly 6 to 8 blocks away from it. Mouth Attack (when you’re in the air): If you either flying with elytra or have been flung into the air from the flying attack the dragon will chase you down trying to bite you which deal 100 damage roughly causing you to die instantly, to avoid this attack is to shoot it in the eye with a crossbow enchanted or not. And that’s it for the attacks. Drops: Iron A new metal called steel which can enhance the iron weapons and armour to be stronger against strong attacks from stronger enemies. A new pair of wings called the mechanics wings which cannot do the flying attack, however it is faster than the Elytra. A new accessory called the dragons claw which resembles a pendant or a necklace, however it enhances your weapons to deal an extra 20 points of damage and a chance to crack boned enemies. A new weapon which opens a new category, the Staff of the dragons this can call a new boss which roams in the over-world, or has a slight chance of calling a dragon ally to aid you in oncoming battles. How to craft the mechanical skull: You’ll need iron, a skull head and 2 bits of red stone to craft it. Spawn requirements: This doesn’t need spawn requirements, although it cannot be spawned in the nether nor the end meaning you have to fight it in the over world. I honestly would love to see this happen, but if it doesn’t that’s okay.

If this is linked to the villager mod, it gives you more of a reason to stop the necromancer as fast as you can. Maybe it can only spawn in certain biomes, and it will seek out villages if they are nearby.

No, because then it becomes a game of "hit the necromancer". I believe Tango's goal is to force you to think strategically and not blindly whack the guy (it's less costly to kill a chicken than the skull). Also this lets you save a linked villager, otherwise you could only kill them too.

I disagree. If that was the case then there's no reason not to just keep hitting the necromancer. With the current system you have a choice, kill the linked mob, or hit the necromancer and do less damage.

The point of the current system is that it's easier to attack and kill the mobs that are linked, thus making the fight more strategic than just wail on the necromancer. If the health of the mob was consumed first it'd make no difference whether you attack the mobs or the necromancer to get rid of the soul link, thus removing an element of strategy from the fight. But certain mobs you may not wish to kill thus making you need to suffer the need to deal more damage to the necromancer instead, it's a risk reward system now, changing this would nullify the risk vs reward that currently exists, it's be a downgrade from the current system.

This mod and your Villager mod is looking awesome. I had an idea though, which could be kind of neat, so I figured I'd share it. What if you made Vampires and Werewolves that are also incorporated into your Villager mod? Nomads would have a small chance of being a werewolf (in secret of course), and if you add him to your village, the next full moon could be very interesting. If the game doesn't have a proper lunar cycle (I can't remember if it does since it's been years since I played) you'd need to add that too. Vampires on the other hand can't survive in the day, so they would instead try to sneak in at night. Guards and Clerics would have a higher chance than others to realize they're a vampire, but the average villager would only have a very small chance to realize the danger. If a vampire manages to isolate a villager at night for long enough, then that villager will become a Vampire and join that Vampire's group, leaving the village to return the next time along with the master vampire. Obviously a rampaging werewolf could infect survivors too. A big difference from other monsters though is werewolves will actually run away to try and escape and hide until sunrise. If they were part of your village, they actually will return at sunrise, and if you don't notice, you may still have a werewolf hiding in the village. Ideally, you could also be infected, but how that would work would be something I'd leave to you. Perhaps if things go far enough, you may end up having your village convert to a vampire or werewolf village, which can still (at it's core) work similarly to a normal village, but obviously what they would eat would be different (werewolves live off of living things pretty much only, while vampires need blood from living things). A vampire village would obviously switch to mostly working at night, and would probably have something function during the day that captures nomads to hold them til night, where the vampires can feed and convert them. Naturally outside of your Villager mod this could still be set up to do stuff, but I'm not too sure how it would work off the top of my head. EDIT: They can also be "leveled" similarly to how you have multiple levels to your Necromancer here.

three ideas: pack: form a team with pillagers, for the next three times you are being attacked they will come to your aid, with a debt of course. new dimension, the nothing: nothing, just endless white, if you mine for long enough though, who knows what youll get. its always garaunteed however that said things is large in size. mad scientist: a new villager type, captures monsters and experiments on them, if you are captured by him youll be expiremented on and will have to deal with some sort of long lasting effect. but if you beat him ni his big mansion, you get cool items.

What if Minecraft had a nightmare boss or something? Let’s say after you sleep in a bed, two days after that, you’d have a 50/50 chance of entering a dreamscape. You go into the dreamscape with nothing, and you’ll come out with whatever you had in your inventory before, plus, everything you gathered will be put in a chest nearby your bed, not in a wall. This dreamscape holds very strange things. The color palette of blocks are either super bright or super dark, with either bright wool or dark clay. There is also a number of puzzles contained and live and die scenarios, such as four chests in a room. One has valuable items, while the other has terrible secrets. Keep in mind, that if you die in the dream, you’ll just naturally wake up, with nothing lost. You enter the dream with any items you had equipped. You can also leave the dream any time by heading back to the bed you just woke up from. There’s also lots and tons of horror and strangeness, like upside down rooms and povs, negative colors, reversed controls and even some 4th wall breaks, but nothing is as scary as the Nightmare Ghost, or whatever it should be called. After doing some puzzles and exploration, you’ll be met with a large door. You can’t open it, and you must obtain keys, by exploring a separate, horror filled room somewhere in the dungeon. Once you open the door, you are met with a mirror of yourself. You notice in the mirror that something is appearing behind a pillar, but when you turn around, nothings there. It’ll touch you, and you’ll be sent to a boss fight. You’ll be put in a colorful, wool bright filled place, with lava, skeletons and zombies. The Nightmare Ghost awaits. He has a good amount of moves: For starters, he can teleport quickly. If you get to close, he’ll teleport behind you. For every second you’re not looking at him, he slowly gets closer. If you’re looking at him, he’ll stop. While looking at him, he’ll rain attacks, such as an anvil fall, which, well, makes a ton of anvils begin to fall. He’ll throw TNT, replace the floor with water, and, on occasion, will blur your screen. If he ends up touching you, you’ll instantly wake up, knocking you out of the dream. His health is a quarter of the Ender Dragons health, but he should be pretty strong. You just need to come close and attack him, melee attacks only. Each hit, he’ll teleport behind you, and spawn monsters in front of you, ranging from zombies, creepers, and even wither skeletons. However, you’ll be able to defeat him, and once you do, he’ll drop the Sleepy Harmonica. This is equipped in the head slot. Any mob nearby you (except for bosses) will be put to sleep for a Minecraft day, so you can scroll by creepers and skeletons with ease. Even enderman won’t go angry if you look into their eyes. If you attack them, they will wake up, but the next hit will kill them for sure. One other idea was that if you win against the Nightmare Ghost, he’ll take something precious from you. Like, if you had a dog, or a stack of diamonds, anything considered valuable, he would take that from you. You’d have to find him via a map in the chest, and kill him in the real Minecraft world, which would be a pretty normal battle. Not hard, nor easy. After that, you’d be able to take what was taken from you back. I imagine the fight like the dream like sequence in Spider-Man FFH.

It would be nice if the soul link was just a “you’re coming down with me” attack where it had a bigger variety of creatures it could soul link (including players or else it’s basically useless) where if you kill the necromancer and you have the links effect it would kill you as well and to make it more interesting, you could dodge the attack and then it affects a different creature around you. Also for the original soul link instead you could have the necromancer absorb plants from a certain radius and all plants in the area would die it (it also has strong spots and weak spots like the tundra being a strong spot and for example, the Colder more snowy biomes weak spots) Other than that I love this!
