This song makes me imagine a fangame where you play as Chara. Like at first you meet Asriel and he leads you to his home where you're introduced to Toriel and Asgore and then you can explore the background parts of the ruins, and like sometimes you're with Asriel and sometimes you're alone. On the parts where you're with Asriel, you can't kill monsters because they'll run away, but when you're alone you can. So basically on a genocide route you'd have to spare enemies when with Asriel so he doesn't get suspicious and kill the monsters when you're alone.

⁠​⁠@@monky4640It’s very much true. Your probably thinking about the gaster or chara rumor. Mus_Star (the normal version, not this) was actually planned to play when stared at madjicks orbs twice and you didn’t move. It was supposed to begin playing when the attacks turned green, but something with CORE playing over all fights messed it up. The trick still works though!

there's actually an unused song from undertale called "mus_star" that it's based off of. It was supposed to play during the fight with Madjick in core but apparently it messed with the music too much. the original is really solemn and calm, so I made it sound more upbeat
