Honestly, I haven’t even started the video yet but I always found it stupid that a strong character gives up her will to live when she doesn’t even know Anakin is dead and still believes there’s good in him, but when you look at the big picture, she’d either have to abandon her children to protect them or kill herself. Deep down we all know Vader would try to sense her constantly and if he ever found her, he’d find the kids too.

In Return of the Jedi, Leia clearly remembers remnants of her real mother. I wish Lucas would’ve had Padme survive. Maybe somehow keep her presence hidden on Alderaan. Maybe a Force shield like Yoda created around himself from the cave on Dagobah. She could’ve been a commoner who raised Leia briefly until she died later of a broken heart 💔 and then Leia would’ve been adopted by Bail. I just wish Padme survived somehow.

Can we get an updated version of this? Now we know that Obi-wan thought he had killed Anakin, he would have told Padme he was dead. She probably would have resumed her role as a senator, but in the Imperial senate, fighting for her Ideals like always then at some point finding out Vader is alive, or Vader finding out about her but years later when he's fully embraced the dark side. I'll admit Padme is one of the few strong female characters that I do respect. My only 2 complaints with Padme come near the end of her life. First is her relationship with Anakin. I would of bought the romance had the writing been much stronger and had Anakin been a (at least at the time of their reunion ) a better person. It seemed like they just fell in love within the span of a few days, and while the novel of episode 2 does provide some much needed context on their romance, it still seems rediculous. I would've liked Anakin saving her life one more time and while on Naboo in the waterfall lands say something such as " You know Padme, with your experience in politics and my Jedi skills we could end slavery in the galaxy and save my mother. Not a day goes by that I don't think about her. In fact let's try to end slavery on Tatooine." It seems like someone she would want to fall in love with. My last complaint with her, is the role she is given in episode 3. WHAT IN THE WORLD HAPPEND TO HER?! She went from being a warrior princess to just crying in the corner doing nothing. It's as if Lucas had a mind wipe one day and forgot who Padme was at all, what her charecter was even about, and was just like "well we can't find a good use for her so let's just turn her into a stereo type." Regardless Padme died believing their was good in her husband and had a hand creating the Rebel Alliance. This is a nitpick but I would remove the "she lost the will to live" line as it just sounds cheesy and have the medical droids say instead "her body is dying from giving birth to the children, we can't save her but there is still time to save the twins. That's all just my take though. Here's to Padme. :)

Michael Karimian Each to their own but I just thought Padme was an amazing character. The romance part had to come in somewhere..I liked the romance but Lucas wasn't the best at writing romance. Well Padme was pregnant in episode 3 so there wasn't much for her to do. Also when she died she didn't just die of a broken heart, Palpatine killed her....She dies when Vader is born so Palpatine took her life force and gave it to Vader...Also how did Palpatine know Padme died? When Vader asks about and than Palpatine lies to him but he also smiles because he murdered her....So both Padme and Anakin died to give Darth Vader life. You can tell Padme didn't want to die and tired to fight it but Palpatine was very powerful and it was all in his plans for her to die. Only way to get Anakin to the darkside all the way.

Anakin and Padmé were connected throughout the movie. She could feel his feelings from afar - maybe because she was carrying his children. I believe Padmé felt Anakin's agony while he was being operated. That is what killed her.

i think they should turn turn that into a movie called Star Wars: The Alternate Path, iy could be a single movie just showing what you explained, and it could make a fork in the path in which you could watch the movies, you vould choose the fate of your favorite characters by choosing which prong of the fork you chosen, it would revolutionize movies as we know them, making them like video games where you choose your fate, a light side path and the dark side path, i think this is a great idea, (not to boast) but especialy the way i say they should do it, like if you agree

I LOVE these videos, so much that they inspired me to ask: what would Padme do after she got Anakin back? (Or, for that matter, if she didn’t?) I know he and Obi-Wan would work together to train Luke and Leia-but I have a hard time believing Padme’s in the background baking cookies and twiddling her thumbs while they’re in the oven. If we learn anything about her from “The Clone Wars” series, in particular, it’s this: *this woman is relentless.* Some simple ideas: Padme must respond to Anakin’s crimes after his fall to the Dark Side and together, they have to deal with his guilt. The father who repented when he saw his wife and newborn children is also the man who murdered Younglings at the Jedi Temple. What’s more, Sure, from a certain point of view, Anakin and Vader are distinct entities, but I don’t think that’s a perspective Padme could easily assimilate-nor should she. The man she loves has done despicable things. He Force choked her, nearly killing her and their unborn children. In other words, they can’t go back to playing happy families without a MAJOR reckoning. She also has to react to his injuries and the changes to his body. Meanwhile, Padme has work to do. With her extensive network and close ties to the Organa family, she becomes a prominent figure in the fight to bring Palpatine down and reestablish the Republic. Not for a moment do I believe this brilliant, principled woman would not throw herself into the thick of things and devote her life to the cause of freedom. In some ways, she and Anakin are still players in a conflict that requires them to risk their lives and spend a great deal of time apart. Ironically, this is the first time that they could do so while living openly as a couple. Sure, they’d be constantly on the move, forever the Emperor’s targets, but just about everyone from the forces Sidious sends after them to her contacts in the political realm might soon know that the man she calls husband is the Jedi who, before his redemption, helped to bring the very Republic she’s trying to revive. After the predictable comments-yes, Padme, those big ass cloaks were a dead giveaway and we all knew you were pregnant-she has her work cut out for her. How many would-be allies will trust the senator who married a Jedi, hid their marriage, and failed to realize he had fallen under Palpatine’s spell? She might even find herself under suspicion-even investigation-by whatever remnants of Naboo’s independent government still exists. In canon, Padme dies their beloved former queen and constant defender. It would be fascinating to see her face opprobrium or resentment at home, from her own people. What about her family? Would they have to go into hiding, too? One thing’s certain: she would still have an ally and a dear friend in Ahsoka. That and-don’t take DayQuil for your suspicious cough symptoms at 2 AM and expect to sleep. You’ll end up on KZbin writing a comment like this.
