Loved this one. Complete and total departure from the story but at a later point than most departures are really possible. One thing I would have personally liked to see as a final twist was make Palpatine reawaken after Plagueis moved to Anakin. There are several possible alternate paths to take it from there, though.

20:00.....issue here. When Vader returned, even if Plagueis pretended to be Palpatine, Vader could easily sense his master. His dark side energy would be very different, suddenly. Vader should be able to sense the difference. And just because Plageis perfected this transfer, it didn't mean he had any idea how to hide this transfer with another force user. This matter was never addressed.

Not really. Plaguies essense was mixed with Sidious the moment Plagues infected Sidious. And I think that even after the takeover they remained mixed. After all Sidious midichlorians were still alive. To me it more seems like you make a person slightly stringer by infecting them (adding the maxichlorians) and then when you take over you are them in all aspects except consciousness.

I think Luke and Leia would still rise up and defeat "Anakin Plagueis", and Plagueis would fail to "possess" either of them. But Plagueis still had all his experiments (and Palpatine continued many of them), so a "Snoke" would still come to exist maybe as a new host for Plagueis.

Assuming Obi-Wan still intending to train Luke to be a Jedi and the Rebellion still pop up out of dissatisfaction and fear with how the Emperor govern.

What if *every* dark sider and *every* light sider had their morality switched, like in that scrapped Battlefront 3 concept? Could a pure hearted Chancellor Palpatine save Anakin from the dogmatic and manipulative Jedi? Would the "Jedi" take over the Republic? Would there still be a Clone Wars?

One of the other What If channels did that one. Palpatine and Plagueis, as Jedi in this timeline, exploit a well known fact about the Sith, which is that the Sith always betray one another. They get the Sith to fight each other by making them think that the other Sith have challenged them to a fight over their seat of power in the galaxy. I think it's called 'What if the Jedi and Sith were switched'.

Also imagine Plagueous letting Anakin back into his body afterwards waking Ani’s consciousness from the Padme Dream just so he can enter The World Between Worlds would be something to behold ect…. Imagine an alternate universe Palpatine using Sith Lightniyffom 1 of the portals to hurt Anakin still as Vader or Anakin screaming about the Force Visions of Plagueous infiltrating Palpatine’s body ect…… Could you just imagine Anakin wondering if maybe Plagueous is inside him now??? The possibilities with this story are definitely vast for sure.😂😂😂😂

It's pretty clear Palpatine couldn't kill Plagueis in canon either Palpatine had to get Plagueis drunk and asleep before just sneaking up and stabbing Plagueis with his lightsaber

@@jotheunissen9274 well remember in the book it went down as a "breathing mask malfunction" so if he had obvious blaster or lightsabre marks on him, it would be murder, which palpatine didnt want any scandals, having just been elected. remember he could feel his midochlorians winking out one by one. palpatine said "are you still with us plaguise? yes, but barely, you are asking their midochlorians what they cannot do" so he would have felt him dying, and enivitably die..

One of the better Plagueis stories though I doubt after a while, healing would take years. Plagueis brought back Venamous back again and again, I assume reasonably quickly. If you can do that for the dead, then healing is small fry with practice. Also wisince the midi-chlorians grant a being access to the Force, Plagueis could tell another person's midi-chlorians to cut off access as well or show fake visions or lower the mind defenses so he can control them like that yinchorri. He just didn't have time and was foolish to field test it while dying and not before.

The jedi are alive, and the boy might be out of reach. . . . . . . for now, now go Supreme chancellor, go sleep. And Palatine is left trembling in fear and shock that his master could still had that much power behind and that his master could still kill him.

What if Palpatine stopped Vader from trying to throw him into the reactor shaft? Maybe instead of stupidly trying to use force lighting on Vader, he decided to use Force Crush to immediately disable vader and be free from his grasp, able to kill his traitorous apprentice and Luke.

yeah, he always taught maul to "go for the throat" that a sith doesnt draw out a conflict but siezes it immediately. you're right. he should have force grabbed vader's legs or something, crushed his helmet, gotten dropped onto the floor, then finish or enslave luke.
