Vegeta would be ready. When Gohan and Krillin returned he knew they would go for the tail. It only worked because Yajirobe stayed hidden the entire fight and Vegeta didn't know to expect him.

According to Guru, the eldest namek, that if kami & piccolo did fuse back in the saiyan saga they might have had a chance against them. Plus if we go with the new semi retcon lore in Daima then it’s safe to assume that piccolo is part of the dragon clan which consists of Sage/Warrior type nameks. I still would consider Orange Piccolo as the true form of a Super Namekian since his appearance resembles that of the dragon balls.

9:00 Vegeta is very tactical, supposedly. As soon as he would notice Piccolo be as atrong as Nappa when he couldn't defeat him an hour before - he would suspect something afoot. He's too smart for just brushing it aside after letting them go for the dragon balls. I think he would have soon thought that they might have used dragon balls for power boost, because he doesn't know how dragon balls works, nothing about the pitch black skies and etc. Yep, that's my take. I wouldn't rank this fanfic high, but you tried well and your editing + voice acting and narration were on point.

The correct equation for Fusion is: (A+B)×(100)=C -> This is the best case scenario, were both A & B are similar in size, power, health & the merged warrior is not "conflicted" by the composite personality. ====== Second: . There is no way they could get the Pottara earrings (no mortal can reach the havenly planet of the Kais or Paradise). . Only Goku could learn the Metamoran Fusion Dance from the twins, but has to wait fir the Other aworld Tournament (they are from the West Galaxy, outside of jurisdiction of Enma & King Kai). | . Even then, he has to contact Uranai Baba to use his only 1 day on Earth to go back to Earth to "train" Piccoro on it. -> Since Vegeta is alive but also is too small for Piccoro & his powerlevel woud only go from 18000 to ~50000 at best; he would do better fusing with Super-Saiyan Gohan (about the same); jumping directly to a 10 Millon Super-saiyan Vehan [in a good range for 10% Final Form Freeza ; or more likely the 100% of his second form (that Vegeta would recognize from King Cold)].

Speaking of ideas there is a rare one that only few have done differently though this direction that me curious: -What if Goku Willingly Join the Red Ribbon Army, Rise of the Red Ribbon Saiyan 💝 ( Commander Red and Doctor Frapp Create the dragon radar first and search of dragon balls before the first episode. So Colonel Violet found Goku first instead of bulma and convinced him to Share the dragon ball and to train under the Red Ribbon Army. Goku goes to check it out himself and receive both Military training 🪖 and some teachings from the Crane school by mercenary Tao. He would in a way be a poster boy for the Army given me the rank "Captain Orange", this would arise commander Red's Self-Esteem enough to plan for a different wish that would benefit the Army similar to Emperor Pilaf. Overtime he would be best friends with Silver, Yellow, White, Magenta, Black, Gevo, Vomi, Gero, Launch, Haskel, & Wheelo. Maybe even fall in love with either Ranfan or Suno 🧡💜❤️.

Well the issue his how big a boost would Piccolo get if he fused early? Remember when he fused with Kami in the main timeline he had already far far far surpassed him and already merged once before. According to Goku while they were sensing his fight with 17 Goku say's Piccolo's power was more than double what it was after he fused with Kami so to keep it measurable lets just say 2.5x to make the math easier. So would Piccolo just get a x2.5 boost if he fused during Vegeta and Nappa's arrival? because if he did he'd still stand no chance against Vegeta.

The Kami fusion isn't your average Namekian fusion. The Piccolo and Kami fusion is a re-unification and the return of the Nameless Namekian. We know the Nameless Namekian is stronger than at least first form Frieza according to statements from Nail and the Grand Elder. He's probably even stronger than that because the Grand Elder compared him to a Super Saiyan, but I understand making Piccolo that strong so early doesnt make for a good story.

Simple they don't become as strong since the wish only works based on who is the strongest at the point in time the wish is made, hence gas became stronger than granola and granola stronger than MUI goku but weaker than UE vegeta If it is made at like saiyan to namek saga the wish would make anyone way stronger than final form frieza or maybe even stronger than fat buu if being sealed counts as existing hell maybe stronger than a young adult broly Thou at a very early saga most people would get the gas treatment and turn to dust in a few minutes
