Also Mega Hisuian Samurott standing up references back to how Oshawott and Dewott were bipedal which I kinda like ngl. The line going from bipedal to quadrupedal has only ever happened one other time for starters, being Skeledirge's line. Its been a trend for the opposite to occur in recent generations, mainly with Fire starters. On that note, the physique is giving me Incineroar vibes a little bit for some reason.

Samurott can be bipedal. Samurott has always been able to stand up and draw both of its blades. It stands on all 4s for mobility. The only reason we dont see it stand up in games is cuz gamefreak is too lazy to give it a proper animation. Hell they didnt even bother giving it the sword slash animation in SV...

Mega Alolan Exeggutor is so good. Still goofy like the original but also pretty cool with its Hydra inspiration. And those stats go crazy especially with essentially three STABs. Love it.

Can you try "Varoom and Revaroom of Every Type" while you're at it? I mean, I know the Starmobile kinds already have both Fire, Dark, Poison, Fighting, and Fairy types. But when it comes to different vehicle designs, it's not enough. Especially when only types what Ortega didn't have are Normal, Water, Grass, Electric, Flying, Ground, Bug, Rock, Psychic, Ice, Ghost, Steel, and Dragon. And as for the vehicle designs what I mentioned, I would love to see them in models themed after Electric Cars, Hovercrafts, maybe Mutant Vehicles

I don’t remember where I saw this but I remember hearing somebody say that the starters for Legends Arceus were jumbled because of the fact it was released so close to bdsp and you wouldn’t want to use the same starter so soon again, meaning that because we haven’t been to Kalos in so long there’s a very real chance that we just get to pick a Kalos starter

Just a small note about Hisuian Samurott (and the other Hisuian starters), while you’re right in that Samurott doesn’t have a connection to Ainu gods, sea otters play a big role in Ainu mythology and folklore. There are two stories that I know of that feature an otter. The Kutune Shirka is possibly the most important piece of Ainu literature, telling the story of a hero wielding a magic sword seeking out a golden sea otter that is said to glint like a sword. The otter had a bounty on its head, and many treasures were promised to whoever was able to catch it. The second story is of the Ainu creator god having important business in the heavens and telling a nearby otter to relay crucial information to another deity he would send in his place temporarily. The otter would forget to do this, leading to humans being created as imperfect beings. The otter was then punished with lifelong forgetfulness, and it was said eating an otter’s head would make the consumer just as forgetful. The Kutune Shirka involving a sword and an otter fits well with Samurott, while you could say that mankind’s imperfections include the dark things people are capable of, and thus the Dark-type. Though Dark also just lines up with how the actual samurai treated the Ainu. All the Hisuian starters have something to do with two major parties most effected by the Meiji Restoration: the shogunate, which was disestablished (maybe that’s why Decidueye and Samurott are MASTERLESS samurai), and the Ainu, who were forcefully integrated into Japan (hence the connections to Ainu religion). Hisuian Typhlosion might raise an eyebrow on the samurai aspect, but it’s just more subtle. Its Japanese name is Bakphoon, combining bakufu (an explosive blast) and typhoon. But bakufu is also the term for “shogunate,” just using different characters. Its Fire/Ghost-typing not only references Kamuy-Huci like mentioned in another video, but it also leans more into the mujina, a badger yokai that is capable of creating ghostly will-o-wisps and transforming into either a Buddhist monk (hence the magatama beads around H-Typhlosion’s neck) or a tax collecting government official (aka a high-ranking samurai). So, yeah, all three Hisui starters are samurai + Ainu. Just takes some digging to uncover some of that information :)
