And you would have had to maintain the books and your risked them being stolen in sieges and stuff. Instead of a linear tech progression you'd have to constantly struggle against the entropy that was trying to wipe out the knowledge of the ancient world.

@@DaDungeI think why it works in this and wouldn’t in ck is because ck is on a far larger scale. I think the way ck3 does it is as close to perfect as is possible in that system.

The heir trying to turn the power off on the pc is a struggle I've dealt with both my sons. Youngest has learnt pc provides TV so doesn't want to turn it off now... Just turn it on

I got you. Go on the settings and find "when I push the power button:" change it to "do nothing". Open your computer case and unplug the wire for your reset button. Your kid won't be able to turn off your pc unless they hold the power button for 5 seconds!

Rimworld is too good. Only game that's taken my full, 12 hour a day interest for most of a year. Not a bad year all in all, 0 rehab visits, 7/10 would live again

@Pravus When you form a military squad it takes time for everyone to find weapons and put on their armor, so Dani probably died because she had no weapon or armor when the wolves struck. You were also turning lots of your food into moonshine and selling it, which didn't help the food shortages. You had almost four times the booze as how much food you had at the end, so you were probably over producing it.

10:57 - Price modifier is already attached to products price, so for example you already buy book for 99, not 100 gold. This small -2 number just shows how much you saved or paid more money, depends on your skill. Hope you'll have fun with the game :D

The Noble Family management reminds me a lot more of Star Dynasties, rather then Rimworld or CK.

I'm curious, what is the purpose of copying books? The book doesn't appear to be consumed when read, so I'm unsure why you would need additional copies? Are you meant to sell the copies you make?

It’s much better than rimworld even this early in development the only major issues is warrior tax no real solution once it’s piles up and tech books needs to be written and learnt every other day. Politics has a lot too much going on other countries frequently demanding stuff is frustrating i just ignore most of it which leads to no trades. “Desire reward” is the most annoying thing when I can’t buy any rings only from bandit camps.

I’ve been playing a bit and I feel like there’s no good mid-level for game stats, if I wanna see if I’m making enough of any resource, for example, I can either guess from what I see top-level, or go into deep detail in the stats screen or reports. I just wanna see something mid-level which shows me I’m not making enough food or not, for example. Otherwise I’m just building stuff and hoping for the best!
