SCP 914 is a Safe Class anomaly also known as The Clockworks.
SCP-2800 is an anomalous male of Scottish descent, formerly known as Daniel MacIntyre, though SCP 2800 now refers to itself as Cactusman, the Spiked Menace. SCP2800 possesses an expanded genome that contains DNA from the saguaro cactus. SCP-2800 also has many anomalous characteristics that are consistent with the natural physical properties of the Carnegiea gigantea plant, more commonly known as the saguaro cactus.
SCP-914 is a large clockwork device weighing several tons and covering an area of eighteen square meters, consisting of screw drives, belts, pulleys, gears, springs and other clockwork.
When an object is placed in the Intake Booth, a door slides shut, and a small bell sounds. If the knob is turned to any position and the key wound up, SCP914 will “refine” the object in the booth.

@@hollystepp3735 Agreed. 682 can adapt to anomalous things, sure. But all Daniel was doing, really, was stabbing and restraining him with needles. That's fairly ordinary on a basic level; more so than the vat of acid that 682 can't seem to adapt to. Even bullets and bombs are known to have SOME effect on 682. It's not like Daniel was trying to turn it to crystal or something. What I disagree with is the idea that the Foundation couldn't cover up this fight. 682 has gone on rampages before and they managed to cover them up. They even managed to cover up Shy Guy's rampage and thank god they did. But Daniel helping to reign in 682's rampage and allowing Foundation agents to swoop in should have helped them cover it up, even if there was a giant sequoia sized cactus in the city. They've got whole teams devoted to censoring the internet of anomalous content.

We're definitely getting a part 2 Also, following the success of this, the foundation has a great opportunity they could take advantage of Take other anomalies and form their own SCP version of The Avengers or the Justice League. Following this, the foundation could end up going public, basically becoming S.H.I.E.L.D. They could use their MTF squads and certain anomalies handle disasters caused by anomalies. I'm not saying it would be perfect, but thats kind of the point. Positive stories are so refreshing compared to some of the stereotypical horror in scp files, I’m really surprised there isn’t more of them in a world packed with anomalous beings My favourite scp stories are not the horror but actually the unique anomalies that have strange effects; like that cake that fills up the world/vending machine that can serve anything or things that just have weird effects and phenomena, that fits the word “anomaly” way better for me Like I would love to hear a story about something unusual like a light switch that can make it day or night instantly with some bad side effect compared to scary masked creature kills people for the 10000th time (that’s just my personal gripe with some scp stories, the horror aspect sort of falls under fatigue after a while) though I do enjoy some of the horror if it’s presented or written well; as shown on this channel This is why stories like ‘just another murder monster’ are so entertaining, because it’s self aware writing that utilises the points above and subverts expectations, not to mention how the writing is clever enough to keep you thinking that scp is dangerous when it just wants to cook and likes music

Actually, this hasn't happened and would likely mean he could be able to possess most entities that previously couldn't be possessed. In other words it would then be possible to technically terminate SC0-682 by having him become the new host for Dr. Bright and likely would allow him to split his consciousness from the Amulet as an incorporeal entity, in other words, Bright can temporarily leave the Amulet to become a ghost/phantom and do even more crazy ass shit and even more things he cannot do.

I like scp tales on the lighter side as well as using the scp for helping. I’m not a very good writer but have several ideas for an scp. The format for how to write it always confuses me. I always get messed up trying to figure out what details are in the containment section and what goes into description

Well the site does have an explanation, basically write it as if you were making a professional paper. They gave a werewolf as an example, instead of saying “A wolf standing on two legs” you say “A bipedal canidae”. Basically you have to treat it as if you are writing a scientific paper, scientists uses specific words so they don’t confuse the reader. Like how there is a difference between getting annihilated and disintegrated.

Watching this story. I'm so proud of him. He was one of my favs because of him always trying to help but couldn't. Now he became the embodiment of hope across the world. And I was really impressed with him being strong enough to even pierce 682. And even contain it by himself. I'm sure next time 682 sees a cactus man. He''ll give him some words.🌵. And weirdly enough the cactus man was perfect to deal with 682. He has become a true Superhero! I'm just glad that In a world filled with overwhelming evil. There are those hints of good in existence.
