Search for Jump Super Star, Jump Ultimate Star or Battle Stadium D.O.N. Those are all Smash-like anime games and in my opinion all bangers!!

Tbh the best crossover game would be a 4 player coop turn based game where each person takes control of 2 characters so there would be 8 characters in the battlefield and it’s like one piece odyssey where everyone is separated and can group up after clearing their area. The reason why I say turn based is because you can even make the useless characters playable. Like in Jump Force fan favourite characters that where impossible to make a move set for didn’t make it in but if it’s turn based then everyone has a shot to get in and plus coop is insanely fun especially when I can be the 2 characters from my favourite anime and my friend who doesn’t like that anime can be their favourite characters and we can both share the same fun.

That is a really good idea and sounds like fun. To bring up your point about some characters not being able to have movesets in a fighting game, I think a smash clone would allow them to have movesets that work considering smash has characters like Villager and Isabelle who aren’t known for fighting.

4:09 I'd say Sanji over Nami. Nami has barely even been a fighter. One reason to include her, aside from representation and "Dwayamn," is the fact that Smash also has non-fighters as fighters (Zelda and Peach).

Fun idea...uhhhhh Tokyo Ghoul isn't 3rd party... it's first party. Not even second party like Yu-Gi-Oh which (after the death of Kazuki Takahashi) is now co-owned by Konami. Tokyo Ghoul is purely Sheisha. It's just not in Weekly Shonen Jump magazine but it's still part of the Jump Comics brand. Also, sad no Buso Renkin reps Kazuki or Tokiko would be great. Also Also, the Jump Super Star and Jump Ultimate Star games were great games. Not just "decent". They were super fun.

Platform arena fighters should be much more successful. Smash mastered what they invented, but then you got games like Playstation Allstars which lacked things like movement and directly defeating opponents in place of having a ton of moves and combos (cool), but no running and having to land supers to win (lame). DC, Marvel, Disney, Shonen Jump, these franchises could take advantage of this genre really, REALLY fucking easily.
