You can only attack once per turn, and this attack HAS to be body slam. You may not play other body slams alongside it. But the free body slam doesn't count towards beat of death or time eater countdown so.. Clearly a great relic

Snecko and Pyramid are practically tied as the best relics in the base game, and usually worth taking in the majority of decks (though there are definitely decks that suffer from them) It is funny how the two best relics are also really awful together though, you almost never want to pair the two together in one deck because of Pyramid making you hold expensive cards.

The best part of Snecko isn’t the randomness, it’s the +2 draw per turn, it allows you to cycle your deck faster and get your important powers earlier

@@B0realis9999 Snecko reinforces the concepts of card value and draw power over card cost. Some cards are so important to your run that they're worth playing regardless of cost. Even if you've added only two such "big" cards into your deck by the end of act 1, the eye can let you get them into play much earlier than usual because you cycle through your deck faster with the +2 draw per turn, and sometimes they might be cheap/free. It's kinda like Time Eater's gimmick but combined with free extra draw and the potential of novel combos enabled by cost reduction.

@ Snecko always struck me as really hard to take when I was a newer player too, but ultimately the card draw is so valuable that in most decks it will outweigh the downside of the randomness. Then once you've taken snecko you can take expensive high value cards more easily and ignore upgrading cards that simply get cheaper on upgrade, freeing up those upgrades for other things instead. Even in the worst case scenario where a lot of things in your hand are expensive, USUALLY you will be able to play at least 2, often still 3 cards in a turn (about the same amount you normally can without snecko), because you are drawing so many each turn.
