What If The Death Eaters BETRAYED Voldemort

I feel a great spot for The Death Eaters to turn against Voldemort is after Harry survives The Killing Curse again in The Forbidden Forest, (looking from The Death Eaters point of view) Harry had just willingly walked up to Voldemort and allowed himself to be struck by the one spell that guarantee's the victim's death only for Harry to rise back up alive in the middle of The Hogwarts Courtyard proving to Voldemort's followers that he simply cannot kill a 17 year old wizard even when that one wizard is right in front of him.

I feel that Voldemort would have just killed all his followers in rage, however I think he’d decided that he’d do it alone with his army. Due to him doing this I think it would only course in fighting in his ranks between the fearless and fearful, eventually it would be Voldemort and maybe 100 of his most loyal. I think it would go down the same way infighting in the Sith from Star Wars destroyed the sith.

Dont forget his hoards of inferi which could lead to a campaign of terror as the thought of your loved ones being made to fight you as undead monsters would cow a lot of the population.

@@salavantias1948 inferior hate the light even more than dementors so I don’t see inferi being effective, I inferi are just zombies really. The only way he’d ever be able to use them is at night or when it’s particularly dark.

1.) What if Harry and Hermoine had been caught after the rescue of Sirius in Prisoner of Azkaban? 2.) What if the Muggles somehow got wind that the Magical World existed, say in the Half Blood Prince timeline, and started attacking the Magical World? Would the Order and the Ministry possibly ally themselves would Voldemort out of desperation against the big disadvantage the wizarding side would have?

Answer your question about if the Muggles found out during the Half-Blood Prince. About the magical world then they would have to take steps to ease people's fears. The ministry would have to break the international statute of secrecy and actually tell people. They would be upset with the government that they were keeping the secret. And in the magical community a lot more people might flock to. Voldemort giving him vindication that he was right or maybe a splinter group might actually reformed grindelwald's little group. With his ideals about how the magical world should be handled. And we give vindication to both Grindelwald and Voldemort that they were right about the Muggle world. That is if they do decide to attack and Hunt witches and wizards. It would just be vindication and they might actually breakout Grindelwald before he is killed by Voldemort. So now you got two powerful wizards instead of one Grindelwald escaped from Azkaban and voldemort's a little group would they work. Together doubtful because there ain't no way grindelwald's going to snitch about the death-stick anytime soon.

I think the night in the maze, if they did show Voldy would have killed anyone who showed. But i think the overall outcome of the the 2nd war would have happened roughly the same way the first war did. Voldy would look for more followers, the Order would take it's time to do the same thing, harry and his friends would graduate from Hogwarts, the war starts, Voldemort fails a second time but this time lose because Harry can look into Voldemort's mind therefore giving the Order time to prepare

Here is what I think- In this scenario some of the disloyal DE will in fact return because they are a bunch of weak cowards. The others will feel terrified of their eventual demise. He would free the loyal DE from Azkaban sooner while recruiting new ones. Now a real crucial thing here is rather the ministry will use their brains to act quickly and with full team up with the order and Dumbledore. Or that they will be weakling cowards which is most likely, if so the situation will be even more chaotic with two evil factions razing terror over not just the UK, later all of Europe and then the world.

What if when voldemort tried to kill harry along with him being dismembered what if for some reason voldemort started to feel love and could understand everything about love and was able to feel love something he never knew previously and he's was put through the pain he caused others all at the time he got dismembered and had to deal with the pain til wormtail revived him would this change the story of Harry Potter?

I feel like if this was to happen, Bellatrix and Barty Crotch Jr would've been the only death eaters to not betray him, since they both tried to bring Voldemort back after his first defeat. They wouldn't betray him by not deserting him /refusing to rejoin Voldemort after he came back to power, like the other DE's would have in this what if scenario. After coming back into power, Voldemort would kill all other DE's who betrayed him and start looking for new truly loyal people to join his cause/become a DE, then like in the usual timeline, he would break Bellatrix out of Azkaban. Afterwords, him, along with Bellatrix and Barty Crotch Jr would continue to look for new people to become DE's/join his cause, who he would 100% know without a doubt, wouldn't betray him. I think at first, they would struggle but would manage to build up the DE numbers once again, (and Voldemort would continue on with his plans/attempts), maybe not as many as before but possibly even more powerful or dangerous than his ex-traitor DE's who he killed after they refused to rejoin him.

You should do a video on how much mugglee knew of the Wizarding world. Since I would assume witch hunts and things like the Salem witch trials would have been real event in the Harry Potter world, and even stories of killing dragons and King Arthur as historical fact. That there would be some religious like orders that knew of wizards and always sought to persecute them.then. And we know atleast prime Ministers knew of them while they were in office, I can't imagine they did not take some sort of precautions against these wizards.

I think they couldn't do it even if they wanted. They have so much too loose if they get on the Voldemort's bad side so they have no choice but to follow him till the end, like the Malfoys. Those who did openly betrayed him do ended up dead so they have to be sneaky about it (like Snape and Narcissa) or just..give in. At that time, they have little reason to believe the good side has any chance of winning, especially after Dumbledore died. It was only after Harry returned from the dead that some of them actually believe they could escape. But imagine if they believe Voldemort could be defeated and side with the good guys just for the sake of escaping Voldemort, I think it would be a good opportunity for their children to actually see the different point of views of the war and see that muggleborns aren't so bad after all. That certainly does sound like a good alternate story to me XD

What if the Muggles discovered the Magical World years after the Battle of Hogwarts? I've asked this before and still think it a good idea, I just don't know how to make vids so I've posted/asked Dean for it. If Muggles learned about magic, and the wizarding world like somehow shows everyone on everything about Harry and Newt's stories, would there b peace much sooner with far less prejudice then back in the old days. Lol your joking, right? Muggles drove them into hiding in the middle ages with pitch forks, with the technology they have today they would flat out body most wizards outright. Think how much of a fight James Potter put up without his wand? Which was none, now picture a sniper blowing a wizards head off from a mile a way. And given how ignorant wizards are of muggle society I highly doubt they could go undiscovered long without polyjuice.

@@sammycakes8778 considering the Deatheaters were able to put the Muggle Jr Minister under the Imperius curse it wouldnt be a stretch to say they could just use the imperius curse en masse on the politicians and leaders of the world. The only thing stopping them is the fact the Wizarding World kneecaps themselves by making it illegal. And considering a vast majority of muggles dont even believe in magic anymore by that time any1 saying there are witches and wizards would be considered loons or conspiracy theorists unless the wizards made an open move.

One interesting topic for a video is how the Harry Potter films would've been different if they'd only started to be made once all the books had been published. Of course, they would've been able to avoid certain plot holes, such as Harry seeing Quirrell die in the first film but not being able to see Thestrals until the fifth, but it would be interesting to imagine how the casting would've been different. For example, Michael Gambon might have ended up playing Dumbledore right from the start, while Snape might instead have been the high profile character that had to be recast due to the original actor dying

Hmm, from Nazis to mafias...very interesting. If you think about it, if there were a faction breaking from the DE, odds are they would go to Snape to seeing he was a DE and continuing having a much more normal life than the rest. Of coarse they still wouldn't know how deep undercover he was but it would be a start on making something more than Voldemort's new world order. The order of the Pheonix, no Dumbledore would use that as his advantage by breaking Voldemort's psyche by making Snape the leader. If he can't trust his most trusted, who can he trust?
