Arabs enslaved more blacks (even today in Mali and Mauritania) than Europeans ever did. The history of black enslavement by Arabs is more than 1000 years old (maybe 2000 or 3000). They have this need for a Father God. Buddhism is more intellectual, looking inwards which is why Blacks are not attracted.

I've wondered about this as well. The majority of Muslims I've spent time with appear measured, calculating and disciplined. Many Christians I've spent time with show opposite traits. I think each religion's guiding principles and worship book lead people to those traits. Christianity's low barrier of entry, high level of inclusiveness and lack of consequences for breaking laws/rules are standout negative points and spark my curiosity into its origins and political purposes both now and in antiquity.

I don't think changing religions would do much, honestly. I am a Christian but I also believe people act in a way that they are accustomed to unless an event happens that demands change, regardless of religion. There are also certain branches of Islam that promote docility even that trait has been more associated with Christianity. By the way Phil, do you mean Islam or Nation of Islam? Yeah, I’m a Christian as well but I reject the notion of turn the other cheek. Phil seems to have forgotten that many Black Christians were involved in slave rebellions, the Underground Railroad and in fighting against the confederacy during the Civil War. Meekness isn’t something that we have nor ever will accept.

@@sonicdash761 I think that the turning the cheek thing was taken out of context in modern Christianity but I still need to do research on that. The Bible has countless examples, Old and New Testament where righteous anger was necessary and even condoned by God. Jesus was infuriated at the temple when the merchants turned into a marketplace and went off in there.

@@hassanabdur-rahman1559 Well maybe but I heard Muslims say that they denounce what extremist do and say that Islam is a religion of peace and not warring with others(nothing wrong with that). Some even go as far and say that a muslim should be a pacifist. I am also aware that the Hadith, from what I understand, had a few passages about Prophet Muhammad's conquests against other faiths which Muslims say don't apply to modern times. Please don't take it as me denegrating your religion because there are some aspects that I like/respect and find very fascinating. I've only listened to a few Imams preach here and there and read bits of the Quran so correct me if necessary.

Those are the ones who have been true, and it is those who are the righteous." (Qur'an 2:177)

While the Muslim community and I differ regarding Jesus, I do commend them for incorporating their religion in all aspects of their lives. I respect the fact that they pray 5 times a day to keep God close to them and they can only stray so far before it is time to pray again. Whereas most Christians are lukewarm. They only think about God for 2 hours once a week and maybe a few on Bible study night. The other thing I like is you can follow a Muslim person around for the day and know that they are Muslim. You will know them by their fruit. Try following most Christians around for a day and see what you see.

Sahih Bukhari 2:15:103 - "I was watching the display of black slaves in the mosque..." The greatest slave rebellion in human history took place in Basra, Iraq beginning in 869. A half-million African slaves staged a courageous uprising against their Arab-Islamic masters that lasted fifteen years before being brutally suppressed. (See Zanj Rebellion) At least 17 million slaves (mostly black women and children) were brought out of Africa by Islamic traders - far more than the 11 million that were taken by the Europeans. However, these were only the survivors. As many as 85 million other Africans are thought to have died en route.
