Yeah along with having this dumb inflation, having a very old president with dementia and Alzheimer’s, the spectacular Spider-Man getting cancelled after its 2nd season because of some other company buying the rights to it, The twin towers in New York City getting destroyed and crumbling to the ground obviously because of what happened on September 11th 2001, Covid happened and killed a lot of people in 2020 and 2021 which was very tragic and sad obviously, War has been happening and Ukraine with a lot of destruction, bombing and shooting, No more Lego games are being made for ps5 and no Lego marvel superheroes 3 for ps5 which would obviously be nice you know, we literally do live in the worst universe or one of the worst possible timelines we could live in and it sucks but I guess it could be worse I mean we could’ve been in a universe where there’s no technology at all and there’s a bunch of fire everywhere and loud noises

Also, it was said the Showrunners wanted expand the Spectacular Spider-Man universe to other Marvel characters and establish Spidey as one of the Few majorly active superheroes around setting Spider-Man up in a proto- coexisting Marvel animated universe. That was until Avengers Earth's Mightiest Heroes came out, and those plans were scrapped. It would've went down like this, during the events the show, The Fantastic Four, would be around and handling more global scale threats, Hank-Pym would keep a low profile as the Superhero Ant-man, Thor is currently wandering the Earth in Search of his hammer in the Mortal form of Donald Blake, Tony Stark is still a business man Yet to become Ironman, Captain America is Still Frozen in Ice, The Hulk would be an Urban legend journeying through the American Mid-west, and Charles Xavier would have just opened his school for gifted youngsters, with his first two students at the time being teen versions of Scott Summers (Cyclops) and Hank McCoy (Beast). It serves as a hat tip to each Marvel characters debut appearance around the same time as Spider-Man.

For those that don't know why it got canceled, Spectacular Spider-Man is unfortunately stuck in a catch 22 between Sony and Marvel/Disney. Disney managed to get the animation rights from Sony, meaning Sony couldn't continue without Marvel's involvement. They did both have plans to continue the series, even having the universe merge with Earth's Mightest Heroes. But Marvel forced too much input, causing Sony to can the series, since the show (not Spider-Man) is their IP. If Marvel gives up the animation rights or at least a bypass, the show will continue in Sony's hands, but if Sony gives up the rights to Spectacular Spider-Man, the show will continue in Marvel's hands. Who would yall rather have the show be continued by?
