"Anakin reminded himself of the corruption and the betrayal of the Jedi Council." Corruption for... fighting in a war for the Republic that the Senate required them to fight in and many of them were killed during? (And yes, I know they had strayed from their path as peacekeepers and as a whole had strayed from following the will of the Force, but that's a different topic. They'd been corrupted, largely in part due to their being involved in politics, but on the whole, they were still trying to do good.) Betrayal? Anakin literally had told the Jedi an hour before that Palaptine was the Sith running everything, and when he got back to Palpatine's office, he saw the three Masters dead on the floor and had to logically know there was no way Palpatine could be safely arrested. He knew the Jedi had no plans to take over or destroy the Senate. I know his fear for Padme was driving him, but man, his brain must have tied itself into knots coming up with ways to justify what he was doing.

The council "arresting" palps the way they did was treason. It was essentially a hostile takeover. Mace shouldn't have acted so hastily. Also I don't know if you've ever been manipulated for YEARS while under extreme distress mixed in with space magic, but you probably wouldn't act "logically"

What if the Blue Shadow Virus mutated when it encountered the Clone biochips and its small, though variant, genetic structure? When the cure was administered, the mutation amalgamated with it and struck at the chip, destroying it outright while simultaneously becoming airborne and taking hold in the uninfected clones, slowly destroying their chips. With the Clones more or less in constant contact with one another on either Coruscant or Kamino, the BSV mutation would eventually work its way through the ranks until almost every Clone's chip was destroyed by the time of Order 66...

I loved how much of a somewhat greek tragedy this is. Yeah anakin wanted to preform his Republic duty, but at what cost? Only ebegs what if today are: *What if clone wars were a 30 years war instead of the 3 we got? * what if anakin didn't have free will for O66? (And obi wan, padme and bale knew something was up on the post tempel assult holo vid?🤔) *any clone what ifs, my inner 5 year old wants to bash a clone lego figure vs a vong lego figure. * more what ifs where Sidious, dooku, Hego, or cis councle actions clone war or before made promises and they came to haunt Palpatine after his rise to power or were a wrench tossed into his plans. Kinda complicated to explan but moar 66 + 99 shenanigans.
