Antisemitism , it’s a TRICK, we always use it” In August 2002 former Israeli Minister of Education Shulamit Aloni was interviewed on the radio and television program Democracy Now. During the interview, she was asked: Question: Often when there is dissent expressed in the United States against policies of the Israeli government, people here are called anti-Semitic. What is your response to that as an Israeli Jew? Shulamit Aloni replied: “Well, it’s a trick, we always use it. When from Europe somebody is criticizing Israel, then we bring up the Holocaust. When in this country people are criticizing Israel, then they are anti-Semitic.”

Watch Arab news when they interview Palestinians. Most of the time they call the Israelis jews. There is no distinction between a jew from France and a jew from Israel
@RadicalCaveman
@RadicalCaveman 4 ай бұрын
@@johnl946 That's completely false. When they talk about Jews, they usually just mean Israeli Jews, because that's who they're dealing with. Most of them are well aware that there are anti-Zionist Jews, and appreciate them very much.

@@johnl946 These are Zionist policies they protest against and while not all Israeli jews are zionists (albeit the overwhelming majority of Israeli jews appear to support the Zionists actions) , neither are all Israeli's Jews . There are Christian Israeli's and Arab Israeli's , the Palestinians you refer to would not call those Christians " Israeli Christians " But you would not take their saying "Christians" as meaning they're including the French or any other nations Christians when they do . Don't forget , it's Israel that's declared itself a Jewish State , no-one else .

The BDS (Boycott, divestment and sanctions) movement has been given a strong legal affirmation. The international blockade during the 1980s brought about the end of S African Apartheid - and the same approach will eventually bring about the end of Israeli Apartheid which (as we have seen in Gaza) is much much worse than what existed in S Africa.

@@suzika8362 I know it is the world court. Sfop treating me like an idiot, it doesen't reflect well on you. Maybe this explanation from the ICJs website does help you understand the difference between a judgement in a case of dispute between two states and an advisory opinion, where an institution like the UN asks for their advice and opinion on a legal matter. The UNSC might adopt a resolution based on this advice in future, which would be binding, because the resolutions of the UNSC are, but an opinion on something, even if it is the wordls courts opinion on the law, is just an opinion and nothing more. It does carry moral weight, though. And the laws on which it has opined are binding. "Are decisions of the Court binding? Judgments delivered by the Court (or by one of its Chambers) in disputes between States are binding upon the parties concerned. Article 94 of the United Nations Charter provides that “[e]ach Member of the United Nations undertakes to comply with the decision of [the Court] in any case to which it is a party”. Judgments are final and without appeal. If there is a dispute about the meaning or scope of a judgment, the only possibility is for one of the parties to make a request to the Court for an interpretation. In the event of the discovery of a fact hitherto unknown to the Court which might be a decisive factor, either party may apply for revision of the judgment. As regards advisory opinions, it is usually for the United Nations organs and specialized agencies requesting them to give effect to them or not, by whichever means they see fit." They gave an advisory opinion on this matter, which is not binding. [Quote:] Are decisions of the Court binding? The UN has just issued its ruling, again clearly stating that Israel has illegally occupied Palestinian territory since 1967. This follows the many UN resolutions on this very matter. Israel should stop all its illegal settlement activities and its occupation immediately. There is NO need for any futher discussion but for Israel to hand over rights and sovereignty of all occupied territories back to the Palestinian people with reparations. The media and reporters should STOP saying "it's non binding". This demeans the very existent of the UN as a just body.

They can ask the settlers if they want to be part of Palestine. Those who does not, they can leave and stay in the Israeli territories. Which means they will be under the rule of Palestine. From a humanitarian point of view, their are Israelis that does not want war, they want peace with the Palestinians. Israel should relocate that people prefer Israeli rule, building them new homes. So its going to take some time. In the meanwhile they will be under the Palestinian authority.
