Yo, thanks for the video I’m gonna subscribe! I found this after vid after eating one of these myself. Here’s my honest review: Amy’s should never have called this Vietnamese or even “Banh Mi” and they would be better off calling it like cilantro pepper tofu wrap or something. That’s a way more accurate description and not totally misleading. That being said, vegan options are generally hard to find and I buy Amy’s stuff because there are simply so few options. The wrap itself is very close to their breakfast scramble thing. It has a mushy tofu inner texture like their fake egg stuff. And there are some decent spice flavor in there like pepper cilantro and hint of pickled carrot. I’d say it is edible compared to other frozen instant foods you can buy. Making it gluten free also probably limits them a lot. Most frozen wrap type products I buy that are vegan, the outer flaky dough shell is usually the best part. Put it simply; I don’t recommend this item and I wish they would change the name. But to call it complete sh*t is harsh when put into context of it being frozen, vegan, gluten free and probably uses less chemical preservatives of other frozen products.

Welcome to the gluten free - vegan snack food world lol. I eat Amy's bean and rice GF burritos, baked in the toaster oven (improves the texture) and it satisfies me with some acidic topping eg. salsa, sriracha, sauerkraut.

I actually like this wrap. Dont care for the wrap texture when it comes out of the microwave so I air fry it :) I agree nothing to do with a Bahn Mi, I think if they change the name expectations of the flavor will be different.

I actually really liked this. I thought the flavour and texture was delicious. Not exactly like a banh mi sandwich but good nonetheless

It's nothing like a banh mi but it was good and I want to learn how they make that filling

Hahaha! I'm laughing along with you both because I, too, had to add a spicy Szechuan sauce to the wrap to force it down. I spotted these at Whole Foods, and I'm glad I only bought one. I'm leery of Amy's these days. I've been a vegetarian for over 5 years, but I'm getting increasingly disappointed with Amy's offerings. I hope the company sees this. Lately I prefer frozen meals from Sweet Earth. They seem to do better in both the flavor and texture department.

Fake banh mi for the price of a real banh mi. Should I buy real food or a chemical wrap. Tough choice.

There aren’t dangerous chemicals in it. Real banh mi will give u cancer with the processed meats
