I am not Iranian but I have visited 8 times. It is a beautiful country and in some ways, more modern than Western countries. From talking with lots and lots of people, I understood that most women had no problem with the hijab, but there are a minority of women that did not want to wear it. I think hijab should be a personal choice, but to be honest Iran's laws have nothing to do with the rest of the world. With all that has been happening in Palestine for the past 7 months, it is clear that democracy is just a word in the Western World.

It's a form of protest against the government we hate . This is a form of disobedience against their backward Islamic laws. When you see some of the girls not covering their hair. Is another way of protesting . As far as the regime concerns it's illegal to not have stupid Hijiab but our Girls do it knowing it can cause them trouble however they do it. They are very brave the ladies. Another is not to respect the Islamic laws and purposely do the opposite of what's required so disobedience is a form of resistance against this illegal take over of our country by this foreign regime which is Islamic republic and their 8% backward followers.
@shidehhafezi68266 ай бұрын
The traffic has to constantly flow at a slow rate-for both cars and pedestrians. Previously, when I would visit Tehran, I would follow all traffic signs as a pedestrian. However, it would take me longer to get to places on foot. I would also miss buses and metro trains because of this delay. I figured that is why people and cars move at a slow pace and don’t follow rules. They just mix together and move at a slow but constant rate. It is also an old city with street that were originally not built to accommodate a population over 10 million.
