Great video - got one a few days ago and works a treat. Just as described :)

Can you record a video of it in operation and up it to youtube ? I wonder what countries this is available in at present ?

@@BrettMoore66 we'll try, it's nice and hot here at the moment so it's getting used every night in my sons room. I'll try get the camera and out make a short vid. I'm not really a content creator, my son was the one that made the vids and uploaded them. What I will say is that the Coolzy is pretty marvelous. We connected it to the window with the tube thing and it works as stated. It's been used almost every night this summer and we haven't noticed the difference in electricity consumption.

@@Earthfam Are you in Australia ? Im in QLD and I have housemates who do not have wall mounted AC so they would appreciate something like this. Have you tried cleaning the machine ? Has it developed a mold smell ? The biggest problems I have had with "portable AC units" is the power AND the mold issue. Im hypersensitive to mold so I am always looking at that issue.
@Earthfam10 ай бұрын
@@BrettMoore66 yep, we're in Perth, WA. Mold isn't so much of an issue here cause it's pretty dry most of the year. That being said, it was pretty muggy last week. We've only ever checked the filters of the machine but I can't see an mold. There's not a moldy smell either. If there was I suppose you could spray an anti fungal? but seems to not be an issue.

Very " cool" ha. Will try one out. I'm unsure if would work in practice but some kind of actually blanket attachment would be great. Like those bed fans

Saya suka produknya, apakah di Indonesia ada ukuran COOLZY yang lebih besar lagi?
@Coolzycom6 ай бұрын
Terima kasih! Kami menjual Coolzy-Pro dan hte Coolzy-Go di Indonesia. Keduanya menyediakan pendinginan sekitar 3650 BTU (sekitar 1/2 pk) dan menggunakan sedikit listrik.

Which parts of machine u put the dry gas. U dont shiw us how to out it
@Coolzycom4 ай бұрын
Hi Stephen, we're not sure what you're asking. What do you mean by "dry gas"? We used dry ice in water to create CO2. This was sucked into the machine and condensed with water vapour in the air to create a cloud. We only did this to demonstrate where the cool air would go. The machine doesn't normally produce a cloud. It normally produces invisible cold air. Please watch the video again and listen to the presenter explaining the science of what is happening.

What about if your bed is too high for it to reach? Do we break out a stack of books to sit it on in order to reach. Lol
@Coolzycom9 ай бұрын
You could do that or the front flap of a Coolzy is adjustable. You can just open the flap so that the air goes higher over the foot of the bed.
@BrettMoore6611 ай бұрын
That is a water cooler which increases humidity which will cause mold in your bed. Very poor concept.
@Coolzycom11 ай бұрын
You are 100% wrong. Please watch the video or read any of our materials before commenting. A Coolzy is a genuine air-conditioner that uses r290 refrigerant gas driven by a compressor and passed through an evaporator and heat exchanger. It doesn't use water to operate, in fact the opposite, it removes moisture from the air as the moisture condenses on the cool heat exchanger. The video you commented on was a demonstration to show how focused the cool air from a Coolzy is. We created the cloud of vapour using CO2 from dried ice. To be clear, the Coolzy IS NOT an evaporative A/C.

@@Coolzycom So you do not show the exhaust pipe in the video, which is weird. But that brings me to something your site does not talk about.. Cleaning. How can this unit be cleaned ? Most portable AC systems cannot be successfully cleaned. Getting a pressure washer and detergents into the fins in all other portable units is a fail. Also, you got the power consumption wrong on your chart on your site too. Portable AC units are terrible and use a lot more power than you mention because they never reach their desired temp, they are on compressor heat exchange constantly. Split systems assuming right size for room, are far more economical than portable units and that is a fact. So... for a big question that I will share with the ACWWA... how do you clean it to remove mold bacteria and dirt ? Having that blow directly into your bed.. hmm. but then again.. lying in a pool of sweat is not any better.

@@BrettMoore66 you have a strong opinion for someone that hasn't read our website articles. We agree with you. Portable A/C's are inherently inefficient. They consume a large amount of energy for very little cooling gain. They never manage to cool the room because (especially single hose machines) cause a negative pressure in the room which sucks in warm air from outside. To cool a room a split system is a better option. But what if you're renting? or in a caravan? or have a room where a split system can't be installed? or don't want high electricity bills? The Coolzy is different in that it is very low power. It doesn't attempt to expel warm air. Instead it focuses cool air on the user in an extremely concentrated fashion. We understand you're sceptical and KZbin comments aren't the best place to persuade you. If you want to discuss, please call our offices in Australia. As for cleaning, we have multiple videos on our KZbin channel for maintenance. We also canvas it in our manual. We are perplexed as to why you've chosen to single out our product to air your opinion? You clearly haven't read any of our material. You clearly didn't even watch the vide properly before commenting. Now you're proffering another opinion without any research. You're also dismissing the fact that we've won Best Portable A/C as voted by customers for 3 years in a row, in doing so, you're saying to know more than customers that have actually used the product? please call us to have a proper conversation if you wish to genuinely learn about our unit. We'd be glad to bring you up to speed.

Nope. It's refrigerated air, this is not a swamp cooler. I have one running next to me right now.
@BrettMoore6610 ай бұрын
@@justcroozin1889 Where does the humidity go ? At present, the DEW point where I am, sits between 24 - 26 celcius (75 - 79F) so a cooling blanket will make a wet bed unless the room is AC cooled or has a dehumidifier running. Simple physics 101.
