This is happening to me. I haven’t worked since April which was 2 shifts. Before this I worked roughly 97 hours a month. My boss is forcing me out I’ve filed a grievance with the union, but still haven’t been heard. My boss has also broken confidentially and spoken to members of the staff about a medical issue. Also harassing the staff not to talk to me. And insisting on telling him what they’ve talk to me about and when if they have talked to me. Now they’re scared of losing their positions if seen with me in our small town. I have no idea what to do and need help and don’t know where to go

Ask yourself these Questions 1) can your employer unilaterally change your work assignments, compensation or place of work without providing reasonable notice and your consent? Answer: NO. I will not quote legal precedences here. Question Number 2) If your employer implemented some or all of these changes, and it must be detrimental to you, the employee, would a reasonable person in the same situation as you feel the essential terms of the employment contract were being substantially changed?
