Great video. It was very helpful. The parts about hiring people and them getting rewards was a bit brief. Sounded like they paid your co-host whatever they felt like. Are the terms not set up beforehand? Also, should someone start a DAO then recruit people or talk to a few people then decide on creating it? I have so many more questions 😫

I'm trying to get my mind around some of those DeFi concepts. Actually central GOVs will adapt many of those models to run countries.The future will be UBI, human-AI hybrid output, digital wallet and rewards such as score and credits, shared ownership.What I still cannot get entirely is that the majority of people doesn't not really understand what you descrbe as core competencies such devolpment and deployment, coding, business and finance. I'm really questioning how this subversion of the status quo will actually lead to an augmented democracy, while the regular person is not able to access this knowlege and its foundation.

Great video. Anyone gone about creating a local community DAO out of interest? Essentially to co-ordinate action in local area people live in to improve quality of life for local residents. Where I live there are so many groups but its all a bit disorganised and there is competition interests and politics. Feel like DAO could help but not sure how to proceed.

Okay im new to this so probably lacking in insight. But let me play the devils advocate here as an example: I have started a company using my own capital and resources, as well as my blood, sweat and tears. It is working and growing rapidly. I have a hierarchy in place, with a team of experts in their field, whom i am paying dearly for their expertise at the top of the hierarchy. I'm hiring new employees. My goals are the same as with most entrepreneurs: to fulfill the goal of the company and add value to society through the product and also to increase my wealth and that of my children and descendants forever. Why would i surrender control of my company and capital to employees, or any other people? its not going to happen. NEVER. It is MY company and I make the decisions, some of which i take in collaboration with my experts. Control is granted based on ownership of the company. And this is not going to change. (aka, based on Capital structure which allocates voting rights proportional to the distributed shares of the company and/or type of shares). How does this structure fit into the context of a DAO?
