Not sure if it’s just my department......our detectives never carry a flashlight. I try to keep a cheap flashlight in my patrol car for those times, when you call a detective out at night.....key words “Detective” & “Night” 🤣🤣🤣🤣

Nope from what I know in Australia you need at least 3 years in the force before you apply for a detective witch is categorised as a specialist role
