What is a drug? and how does a drug work? Different types of agonist and antagonist

Pharmacology is the study of drugs and how they work. This video explains what a drug is and how it interacts with the body. It covers the mechanisms of action of full agonists, partial agonists and inverse agonists as well as competitive antagonists, non-competitive antagonists and functional antagonists. Animations are used to demonstrate how drugs interact with receptors to have their effects and how antagonists inhibit the actions of agonists.
