The last 2 winters, I've plowed with a 650 can am outlander. It pushed a lot of snow. I recently traded it in for a can am xmr 1000 with the click n go 2 setup. I really cant wait to see what this unit will push once we get some snow.

I live in the northern coast mountains of California so when we get snow it is usually heavy and wet. I thought about a plow for my Honda Rancher 400 but think I will probably need to buy a plow to put on my Ram 4x4 pickup. I would be warm and dry in the cab as well!

Any ATV is good with the right equipment. I’ve been plowing for 35yrs started on a 86 Polaris Trail Boss, Suzuki 230 Dual Range & now a 01 Honda Rubicon but there’s things to consider. How much snow do you get & how big is your driveway? Also do you have a good place to push the snow to? My advice is, if you can’t plow over 5mph it’s not worth it & you’re better off with a snowblower. When you backup the ATV the blower is already making another pass. You have to be more careful with a plow than a blower. I have plowed up grass & broke sprinklers. Also with the blower you can stack it as high as the blower throws. I have ran out of room with a plow making the driveway narrow especially when it’s wet snow & had to use the Honda blower to finish. When I plow I do push the snow a quad length off the driveway & ramp it. The biggest ramp I’ve made was around 10 feet tall but sometimes when there’s wet snow I can’t push it up the ramp. It takes more time to ramp & it’s a lot funner than a blower but I have a bad back & it’s hard to walk. If I didn’t have a bad back I would tow around the blower on a small trailer with my quad when I do multiple driveways. Most of the driveways I do is 30 feet long by 20 feet wide. When I first started plowing I found out it was hard on the quad & you. Sold them for a camper trailer & got a snowblower. First time with the blower I noticed how much faster it was to do my driveway & a much cleaner job. I got a new quad & told myself I would never put a plow on it. Someone gave me an old plow & I put it on. I started using a winch & hated it. My old plows had a manual lift that I could control better for ramping & going over grass. I made my own lift system for my plow & it’s faster than a winch. If I had to do it all over again I would never again use a ATV for plowing. We get a bunch of snow in the Rocky Mountains & the roads get salted down. My brakes get rusted up & my frame is rusting out. I had to weld up the plow a few times & now I need to either get a new plow or rebuild it. I thought about getting a snowblower for my quad & I can get closer to the garages with it because with the plow I have to get off to shovel but my back hurts more from the huge winter last year & now I back drag the snow away from the garages. The bad thing is I drive over the snow & it gets packed down. I’ll push the snow off to the sides first before back dragging away from garage. In the subdivision where I live I kept more money in my pocket using the snowblower than spending it on my quad. The best place I found using the plow is on sidewalks in front of homes when there’re close together. When the snow can’t be pushed off to the side when the plow is angled. You push it until the snow rolls off into a driveway but there’s some driveways that are too far apart for me when the snow is really deep or wet that I let the neighbor use her tractor or someone will come with their blower. Yes the ATV is fun but you’ll wear it out if you plow as much as I do. There’s times I’m out there 12 hours at a time with only a bathroom & fuel brake.

I just plowed & If you can’t plow over 10mph it’s not worth using a ATV.

Just hooked up my click n go 2 to my 19’ Suzuki king quad 400asi earlier this week. I bought it last year after watching your review of the system. Performed perfectly. If you happen to know where you purchased the blue plow markers attached to the top/each side could you please reply with the link. I’ve been looking on amazon for some time but haven’t come across a set that has a 90* bend at the metal end where it attaches to the plow. Thank you Roland. R, Eric in Wisconsin

Awesome glad you liked it and it work good for you. It's a great plow system. This will be my 7th year plowing snow with it. Still like new. You can find the plow blade markers here: amzn.to/3QQxpg9

I have a tusk plow and its pretty close to yours, also the aluminum hawse and rope. All close to my setup, i only got the chance to use mine a few times and worked good. Wondering how your rope is holding up and all with your set up? I appreciate any info thanks.

Would a 200cc atv work fine for driveway plowing in suburbs?
@coreydeprez1137Ай бұрын
It also depends on how much snow you're pushing. If it's snowing lots and you wait until the snowfall is done, probably not. If you keep up with it as it falls, most likely.

Nope. The best choice is an old Honda, a basic 3position blade & a cheap winch. It'll get the job done everytime ☺️
