The problem is that there are so many types of hybrid inverters. This TTN appears to be the sponsor of this video. Every installer mentions a different name, but you seem to have been very long in the game. But i am not sure of this video because it appears to be a sponsored video, and i dont know if you can attest to its durability. I have just lost my inverter after 3 months. I am highly sceptical about buying any other unproven product. Which inverters or inverters do you recommend or have given a lasting result in your years of experience? Please kind do a video on that i e top 5 or 10 inverters in the market.

There are hybrid inverters and solar hybrid inverters and i yhink if isn't a solar hybrid inverter then it won't have a charge controller. It's called hybrid because it can draw from more sources.

Bulk voltage Between 14.2 to 14.6v. 14.4v is quite enough. I use 14.1v. For float, you can use between 13.6V to 13.8V. Dont go above 13.8V.

It’s essential to use the same CC brand and voltage system-whether low or high voltage. These specifications must be followed, as a new external CC may not be compatible with the Hybrid due to differences in format.

The idle consumption is high(i.e the power the inverter draws from your battery just to run without having any load on it). They draw averagely 45w to 80w, some as high as 120w just for running. Unlike standalone inverters. Stand alone does not draw high standby power like hybrids

Well as a single unit inverter might be more expensive than a solar panel, but as a collevctive unit not so sure anymore. As regards burning its extremely rare and it stems from poor installation and substandard components.

This is quick diagnosys , Your Generator even though it is rated 3.5kva is not, your generator cant charge your battery through the inverter .

@@smilinsunsmilinsun8056The issue isnt really the generator capacity, the right answer to his issue is that Many Petrol generators put out “dirty” sine wave and many hybrid inverters will only accept pure sine wave which grid power provides. It is why many hybrids dont charge with Petrol generators. Only diesel generators produce clean power that will work with your hybrid inverters. So @Jerome, this is a well known issue. Your petrol generator puts out modified sine wave power which your hybrid inverter hates. That is why it doesn’t charge with gen. As a matter of fact, if you keep running petrol generator on your hybrid inverter, it can spoil it
