Thanks for sharing your wisdom. I always watch your videos and apply some with my son. I am not homeschooling but I want to incorporate some of your ideas in casual home learning, after school and holidays or weekends… would you like to share some of your ideas on how very tiny unit’s studies can be designed for parents who are not able to homeschool but intentional about home learning after school

I would love to know more how you incorporate home learning alongside traditional schooling. I can share smaller units for sure. Though it's hard to narrow down a unit, I have found that often the more focused and selective we are with a unit, the better outcome we have.

Thanks for everything you share. How do we determine which fairy tale is appropriate for each grade or age group? Could you point me to some recommended stories or resources categorized by grade or age?

Good question! There are hundreds of fairy tales to choose from and more if you look at other cultures and languages. I have read many to my children without picking and choosing and over time, you see some repeated themes. For children at this age, I prefer clear stories that depict themes of right and wrong, good and bad, truth and falsehood, but this is a personal distinction as you may choose tales that depict love, adventure or danger. I love the stories that create wonderful imagery for children and ones that appeal to all four temperaments.
