This was very informative. I am going through my courses to become a life coach but it is very hard to find my Niche because I have overcome many things being alone for many years and having the time to work on myself, know myself and develop a mindset I have always wanted. Thank you, this really helped a lot.

Sometimes we only find out niche through testing and playing around and seeing where our clients take us! So don't sweat it or stress having it perfect. It will undoubtedly evolve as you do!

Hi Tara, Thanks for making video on What is Mindset coach. As per me it is all about identify blind spots, change habits& patterns that hold them back. This makes the to unleash the potential achieve, what they want
@TaraWagner2 жыл бұрын
Blind spots are huge. Mindset coaches can identify areas of growth or change in a client that they may not have seen before. Thanks for sharing!

This is a great video. As an upcoming coach im always learning on what is a mindset coach and what is not.

Interesting! I am a mindset coach and I do a lot of belief break throughs in my coaching session. "Changing the mindset" I think both the belief break through, mindset shifts and finding blind spots go hand in hand.

Hi Tara, I really enjoy this video. Thank you.. I just got certified as a Life Coach, and i am very interested in becoming a Mindset Coach. I would like to know how can one gain more experience in the mindset coaching field to be impactful, and become one of the Legitimate Coaches?
@TaraWagner4 жыл бұрын
Life coaching IS mindset coaching. I would just start coaching and allow yourself to find your groove based on your experiences and what you’re drawn to. It’s more important to just gain experience right now.

I've really enjoyed your video. I'm looking for a mindset coach to help me stay more positive with life. I'm a Pastor and I can help others to stay positive/focus. But when it comes to my mindset I need HELP! Not even sure if you understand what I mean....
@TaraWagner4 жыл бұрын
Oh I completely understand. It’s why coaches have coaches too. Just bc others lean on us doesn’t mean we don’t need the same. I’d love to chat about working together. Have you checked out my site to learn more about what I do and how I work? xotara.us You can find the coaching info in the top menu as well and from there setup a time to chat by phone and see if we’d be a good fit for your goals. ❤️

What are other signs that the coach is after their own goals (like being right)?
@TaraWagner4 жыл бұрын
Ohhhh good question...yes, wanting to be right (or not admitting when they're wrong) could be one. Constantly pitching you new products and services (especially using your coaching time to upsell you something that detracts from your goal) would be another. Have you had an experience like that?

how does someone become a life or mindset coach?
@TaraWagner4 жыл бұрын
Good Q! It varies a lot. Some pursue certification, some mentorship, some start through online training, and some just put out their shingle and start sharing their gifts! There are pros and cons to each. Are you considering it for yourself?
@meep_11114 жыл бұрын
@@TaraWagner yes :) but i'm not sure where to start or what I can even teach about. i love mindset learning and teaching about mindset. Does a mindset coach have to specialise in one area i.e. relationship/money or can there be a general mindset coach?
@angelinarutt86164 жыл бұрын
I was curious about the same thing. Where do I start to get a certification? Or some mentor ship?

What are your thoughts on coaching qualifications? Must have/nice to have/don’t matter as much in practice? 🤔
@TaraWagner4 жыл бұрын
Maria Ntalla good Q! I’m pretty neutral on it. I’ve known great coaches without certifications and terrible coaches with them (sometimes from the same schools lol). Definitely nice to have but not much of a determining factor in my experience.

You lost me at "a 25yo can know more than someone with 25 years' experience".
@TaraWagner3 жыл бұрын
😂😂😂 I hear you. But it is true. It doesn’t matter the number of years of experience but what those years actually entailed. A 25 yo can know more about their zone of genius or doing something correctly than a 45 who has 25 years of experience doing it wrong or poorly. Make more sense?
