Hahahaha Very confusing, but fantastic info brother!! I only had one peanut, a Queen sawcut, but it had blade wrap. All of them at SMKW (at the time) did I guess, so I returned it and got a barlow. Wonderful video brother!!

Thanks, Randy. I had fun with it. I point a small piece of leather in the blade channel, and that stops that blade wrap.

It's a lot simpler than I made it. One or more blades at one end. It's still a jack, even if it's small. A PEANUT is a junior premium jack. The pen knife is 31/4 or less and has one or more blades at opposite ends. It's a pen blade, and you define the pattern. Like an equal end, sleeve board, warrencliff, serpentine. I was just having fun with it. Thanks Dan ☺️

Would calling the knife that the blades opened from different sides of the frame a Lobster pattern knife be correct?🤔

Yes, it is a lobster 🦞 Dolphins and Sunfish are lobsters too. So it was a Dog - leg lobster pen knife. This research blew me away. I knew a peanut was a junior premium jack. But those warrencliff shaped pen knives being a dog-leg boggles the mind. It makes sense, though. A warrencliff is a pen knife. If you take that serpentine shape and put a different blade on it, it's not a warrencliff anymore.

Great video brother. It is a subject that is needed. Keep these videos coming!!! My problem is when the knife maker names a knife incorrectly. ie: half whittler, I have several but all but one are actually pen knives. One though is actually a half whittler because the main blade uses two springs and the other blade uses one. At least that is my opinion😂😂😂

Two blades, one end, is a jack, Evan if it's small. A PEANUT is a Jr premium jack pattern. Pen knives have two or more blades at opposite ends. The pen knife is described by its pattern. Serpentine, equal end, sleeve board. It's simple, I was just having fun with it. I hope I can get you some good video, brother. Thanks ☺️
