You possibly could! The PMIS is a combination of systems and processes, that you use to gather and disperse project information. There might be existing processes or templates (OPAs) in an organisation relating to this, that you may have to abide by. Good question!

That is an awesome question. Portfolio management is more about selecting, prioritising and reporting on the right projects to get a certain (strategic) outcome. But having a repeatable process for selecting and managing projects is so important, and that's where the PMBOK and PMP come in. Having all your project leads familiar with that standard process will make your life easier 😄
