@Greg_M308 The best book for identifying knives is Bernard Levins Guide to knives and their values. This book will also give you an understanding and foundation on pricing. But most collector books are 20-50 years old, so the pricing is dated. There is no replacement for hard work when it comes to buying knives. First, pick a knife you want. Then, do a search on eBay for that knife. What you'll get is an array of knives priced low to high. Most knives will fall in the middle, and that's the median price for a given knife. On new knives, I just go to different retailers to check pricing before I buy. Thanks, Greg, and good hunting 👍
