Thanks for the video, you definitely have sales experience. I've been doing sales for more than ten years. I enjoy it. Sales is a basic skill that you need to practice. Definitely has to be a win win relationship. Treat others the way you want to be treated. You want to win, let others win as well.

I am under the impression that I wouldn't be good at sales, but this advice made me believe anything is possible. This is amazing and unique coaching all in a short video. I really like the approach of listening 60% of the time. It's the only solution that makes sense when selling to someone. Your great gentle attitude will make you very happy and loyal consumers... I am now more interested in this job!!

I love the beginning of this video because that’s exactly what I did. I have an interview later this week and needed some more insight on what the job entails. This will be a huge leap out of my comfort zone but I’m ready for a new career path.

I was offered a job that I thought was a customer service representative at a real estate agency but now they're wanting me to be an inside sale representative. And I really liked the vibe of the place and the people seem great but...I hate sales. I can't trust a sales pitch! I hate advertisements and feel offended that someone would think that I could be a shady sales agent.
@chazhorn5472 жыл бұрын
I consider sales as serving. Perspective changes everything, Stephen! Do they have something that helps your customers?
@MarioGonzalez-c2cАй бұрын
I wouldn't think like that. Yes sales people have stigmas about them. If anything, it's a compliment that a company trusts and considers you adequate enough to rely on your ability to sell their product.

I hate sales, I worked as a sales associate in a MetroPCS retailer and they demanded that we sale sale sale. Sometimes a person would go in there just to make a payment and they would walk out with a new phone and a new plan, sometimes even a more expensive plan. We were forced to exploit people's ignorance and lack of will. They could have made the payment through their phone or online but we were told not to share that info with them because that would decrease the ammount of costumers walking in and being talked into buying things. I hate this shit, anyone that enjoys selling things to people who dont need them do not have souls

Chaz Horn there sure are, I'd say the majority of sales people and management are souless bastards. Very few are good, caring, well intentioned people.

I’m looking at a job where it’s $65,000-$75,000 salaried as a sales rep, doing both outside and inside sales. Any suggestions about starting off when I have experience in logistics? It’s salaried and I get no commission.. but will the KPI be tough to meet? I feel like I can do sales, but I will need to go in my own pace lol

I would start developing your sales skills and start interviewing with people.

Hello Chaz I was wondering if you could help me out with a few things,first off,I am 27 years old,i work at a food ingredient manufacturing company but i work on the floor,i know how to run all the machines pretty well and i am on reasonable money,HOWEVER i feel like i have reached my limit with what i am doing and have grown bored. I would like something more challenging and at the same time take a step up in the company and try my hand at being a sales representative,i figured i already know how our products are made being that i have essentially made them all first hand on the machines. With all that said,i am planning on bringing this up with the chairman of our franchise but was wondering if you could help me out with what i should say?or even do if he takes me up on my offer. Kind Regards, Scott
