@@ryanleiderman9622 I will tell you mine, and keep it short. This is just my work with isha kriya, before I learned Shambhavi Mahamudra Kriya almost 2 years later... I started isha kriya and kept doing it for around 6 months before I realized I was spirit inhabiting the body by experience. I, what I call, dislodged from the body and floated down inside it checking out different organs. I could not keep it long so i popped back into the control of the body state. I have been out of my body several times since.

As I understand, what Sadhguru meant to make us see is that most people go on spiritual exploration because of varying ailments in their mind or their body. If they were healed just like that, they'd stop striving to break their limitations and happily settle back into them.

A good doctor then heals in place of faith/reiki healing (miracles), as well as far as I know yoga and Yogis are supposed to teach so we all are our own doctors. Doctore means teacher in Latin as I recall. The most blessed gift then is to teach and guide to collective, quality independence. Referencing a juggler is a more common, physical feat. Actually yogasutras say that siddis are side effects on the path to enlightenment and are a distraction. Many true yogis avoid siddis. Once you become the object of your concetration, you can manipulate the object anyway you want. That is what siddis is.

I hear what Sadguru is saying here. Since childhood, I've had the abilities of precognition, seeing auras, lucid dreaming, and out of body experience. Honestly speaking, these things have been a source of delight for me and my friends and family, but that's as far as they go. They don't provide any genuine growth or enlightenment.

Of what use is it to heal people? Or what use is it to remote view to find missing people? Of what use is it to telepathically connect with another being? Of what use is it to manifest wealth/food for hungry people? I think Sadhguru exaggerates a bit here and/or does not take into account people who are not on his level, which should be most. He may be far, but completely discrediting Siddhis like they had no use at all? He is wise but he also makes mistakes. I think in what he said here, exaggerating/polarizing the way he did, he made another of those rare mistakes. Also threatening people who grow and attain Siddhis? "Hey people, check it out, I can now juggle with 10 balls, but Sadhguru does not allow me to show it". So we need your allowance, Sadhguru? I think not. Note that Lord Shiva himself is far from being angerless. Just look at what he did to dakSha when Sati died. The armies he generated from his powers thrashed everyone at the yagna. Later, when everyone pleaded to him, he fixed dakSha with the head of a goat. THAT is miracle. Being angerless is only for fraud-yogis who don't have any real powers, and yet must insinuate that they have any.

I almost left after he said someone didn't get angry for a year. Yet directly after he spoke about exactly what I was looking for. I believe that anything technology can do, we can do with our minds/bodies. It would take an enormous amount of time and effort tho to begin to do magical things. As he was saying, I want to be the person who is calm and radiates peace rather than one who gets rattled by anger and other negative emotions eminating from those I come into contact with. Hey Andy, there is nothing wrong with healing powers or attaining any other siddhi... what sadhguru is reminding us is that our main objective is spiritual enlightenment especially when u are born as a human, u are far more capable of attaining it in human birth. That he (and his disciples) have such powers but do not use them? That he has authority to "shut down" the spirituality of another if he sees them "using those powers"? I know many have great reverance for this man, but this is only his opinion (not "Truth") and is frankly a rather disturbing attitude from someone who claims to be a Holy Man. Sadh guru is right. Like he said Siddhi means to Accomplish. Siddhi is not about supernatural mumbo jumbos. parallel to Siddhi in ancient Greece were Sophist- one who pursued n had knowledge of science, arts n psychology, who were all accomplished spokesmen, statesmen, healer (placebo effect), illusionist etc, they were the masters of rhetoric and psychology who could easily brainwash ppl into believing anything they wanted them to believe. The difference is in their intentions/purpose who used knowledge not to seek or spread truth but push their will n agenda. Only Socrates could see right through them . with a piece of fine silk thread it's possible to twist it thousands of times to produce knots or locks the string is then connected to needles then these are stuck into certain parts of the body these knots represent the sitting posture done in conventional yoga but using the string one can add hundreds of different locks to the string that you could never achieve doing conventional yoga. You can shape shift fly or create and destroy the universe at will if one wishes. Your yoga is for children.

I don't get your point, there are many people suffering in the world right now with extremely painful diseases , if the Sadhana practitioners in your Ashram are capable of magical healing and many other powers why don't you try to use that power to help people heal. Why are you trying to hide them from public, A fancy demonstration of these powers might be wrong but if they are used to help people then what's wrong. Come up with a better explanation please..

@@jeeban55 Gaining karma is a continuous process(our body kills millions of micro-organisms), there is no end to it. It will end only when the body dies. But whatever our past karma may give us, we can feel their results as pain or pleasure given through our five senses and also through the mind. By meditation and unattacment to worldly things both physically and mentally, we can slowly put ourselves away from experience the results of our past karma's. We can also do this through bhakthi yoga by concentrating on god and forgetting the world.. And one last thing I want to discuss is that , if your past karma's are good and helping you to live happily in this life-time, try to stay away from that too, because that is also temporary. Our senses are proving to us that this Maya or this earthly dream to be true, only through them we feel that this world is true. Unless we shut them down we won't wake up from this dream and will never be able to know the fact that we are the BRAHMAN who is asleep.

There are certain dimensions , but they aren't worth lifetime acheiving it. We all can gain siddhis but the point is neither do we have enough time to do it nor they are worth the time., imagine gaining powers like telepathy and levitation at your mid 80 s... now , in this age what can one do with these powers...

If someone has a dark future then probably its his karma. Its already told that life is a mystery to be experienced and not a problem to be resolved.
