Ephesians 2:10 For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand that we should walk in them. Titus 2:11-14 For the grace of God that bringeth salvation hath appeared to all men, 12Teaching us that, denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live soberly, righteously, and godly, in this present world; 13Looking for that blessed hope, and the glorious appearing of the great God and our Saviour Jesus Christ; 14Who gave himself for us, that he might redeem us from all iniquity, and purify unto himself a peculiar people, zealous of good works. John 14:12 Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me, the works that I do shall he do also; and greater works than these shall he do; because I go unto my Father. So many chant Ephesians 2:8-9 without a clue of what it means.

Everyone is born again the same way by a divine revelation from the Father (Matthew 16:13-20; John 5:24-25; 6:37,39,44-45,65; 10:16; 12:47-50; 17:2; Luke 10:20-22). The Father reveals the Son, and the Son reveals the Father (Luke 10:22). When an unbeliever believes he passes out of death and into life, a spiritual resurrection. The Father gives him to the Son. He hears the voice (word) of the Son of God. The command the Father gave the Son to speak, the Command of eternal life. The ones who are not willing to believe (John 5:39-40) those words will come back and judge them on the last day (Rev 20:15). The ones who hear have been drawn and taught by the Father. Both the Father and Son work in harmony (John 5:17). The instrument that brings about eternal life is the voice of Jesus the Christ who is the Word who created all things (John 1:1-2). The signs in the Gospel of John are for the purpose to bring about faith in Jesus the Christ. The healings in John 4:50 and 5:8 by the power of Jesus word illustrate 5:24-25 (power of His word). Zane’s Commentary on John is well worth the read, and will prove the Gospel of John is written for the unbeliever that he may have life in Jesus name as the Christ. Faith in the Gospel of John is seeing Jesus as the Christ the Giver of eternal life. (Quote Zane page 105 Clearly there can be no agency in such a miracle but the word of Jesus Christ. Moreover, the matter of believing is nothing more nor less than the act of hearing. There is no room in these words for such human elaboration as surrender, commitment or anything else. But at the same time, since we are talking about an internal hearing (not a hearing of audible sounds), it is equally plain that this involves understanding. If I do not understand God’s offer, I have in no legitimate sense actually heard it, even though I may have an aural sensation when its words are audibly expressed. More simply, I cannot believe what I do not understand. It may be said, therefore, that when I realize through the hearing of faith that I am eternally saved on the basis of His guarantee, then-but only then-have I heard “the voice of the Son of God.” End quote Jesus, If you knew the gift of God, and who it is who says to you… God’s desire is that all be saved…1 Tim 2:3-6

thats all jewish under the law which is great in christs earthly ministry but we are on this side of the cross we no longer know christ after the flesh 2 corinthians 5:16 we are in the dispensation of the grace of god read ephesians 3:1-9

John 1:12-13 12 But as many as received Him, to them He gave the right to become children of God, to those who believe in His name: 13 who were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God. To believe in His name is short hand for the purpose statement…that you may believe that Jesus is the Christ the Son of God and that believing you may have life in His name (John 20:30-31). And the signs manifested His glory: John 2:11 This beginning of signs Jesus did in Cana of Galilee, and manifested His glory; and His disciples believed in Him. John 2:23 Now when He was in Jerusalem at the Passover, during the feast, many believed in His name when they saw the signs which He did. John 7: 31 And many of the people believed in Him, and said, “When the Christ comes, will He do more signs than these which this Man has done?” John 8:30 As He spoke these words, many believed in Him. John 11:45 Then many of the Jews who had come to Mary, and had seen the things Jesus did, believed in Him. John 12: 10 But the chief priests plotted to put Lazarus to death also, 11 because on account of him many of the Jews went away and believed in Jesus. John 12: 41 These things Isaiah said when he saw His glory and spoke of Him. 42 Nevertheless even among the rulers many believed in Him, but because of the Pharisees they did not confess Him, lest they should be put out of the synagogue; And also as Zane said concerning faith it’s not the continuing of faith that is the critical issue, but the existence of faith. The apostle John knew the Greek word for continuing, so he could have used it if it was a condition…So when they continued asking Him, He raised Himself up and said to them…John 8:7. Being born again is a spiritual resurrection by hearing the voice (word) of the Son of God (John 5:24-25; 10:16).

They are blots and blemishes , reveling in their dissipation, carousing with you. They have eyes full of adultery, insatiable for sin. They have hearts trained in greed. Accursed children! FORSAKING THE RIGHT WAY THEY HAVE GONE ASTRAY; they follow the way of Balaam .......for if after they have escaped the defilements of the world......they are again entangled in them and overpowered....." 1 John 3:15 " Any one who hates his brother is A MURDERER, AND YOU KNOW THAT NO MURDERER HAS ETERNAL LIFE ABIDING IN HIM". 1 John 2:4 " He who says, " I KNOW HIM", but disobeys his commandments is A LIAR AND THE TRUTH IS NOT IN HIM....but whoever keeps his word....." So, GES believes that after you are saved, you can have an evil and unbelieving heart, fall away from the living God, depart from the faith and give heed to doctrine of demons and you can be severed from Christ, fall from grace, have eyes full of adultery and hate your brother and disobey his command, AND HEAVEN WILL STILL BE YOUR HOME. But if you walk in the light, walk after the Spirit, obey his commands, you are trying to earn your salvation and are lost for you are following a different gospel, you have LORDSHIP SALVATION....

A major error in free grace teaching rejects repenting of sin which is found throughout the entire Bible.

@@karent743 Simple, David confessed and repented of his sins. In 1 John 1:9 it says, " If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just, and will forgive us from all unrighteousness". The 3000 in Acts 2 were the ones who had killed Jesus, yet they Repented and were baptized in the name of Jesus for the forgiveness of their sins and it says that when they did so, the Lord added them to the saved. The apostle Paul/Saul killed and persecuted Christians, yet he too, repented and was baptized to wash away his sins. Back in 1 John 1:7 it says, " Walk in the light, as he is in the light.....and the blood of Jesus his Son cleanses us from all sin.......confess our sins, he is faithful and just and will forgive our sins...". So, I walk in the light and part of that walk is to confess your sins which I do, so the blood of Christ cleanses me. But GES and you believe that once you are saved, you can commit adultery every day and commit murder every day, never repent or confess your sins and heaven will be your home. GES and you believe that after you have been saved, you can walk in darkness as 1 John 1:6 says, LIE AND DO NOT LIVE ACCORDING TO THE TRUTH, never ever repent or confess your sins, and you will still be saved. Now answer Heb 3:12 for us, If you have an evil and a unbelieving heart that leads you to fall away from the living God, are you still saved? How does that line up with your beliefs? Now answer 1 Timothy 4:1 " will depart from the faith and give heed to doctrine of demons", so tell us, how does this line up with your faith? are they still saved? And the same with the rest I gave you, how do they line up with your faith? Lastly, while you are at it, since you brought David up, how does David line up with your faith? GES and you believe that David did not have to repent or confess his sins, he could have continued in adultery and even murder, and you and GES says he would still be saved.

@@2Chronicles714_ David repented as a believer ( already saved by believing in the coming Messiah ) he repented to get back into fellowship with God, which is what free grace teaches. He still had consequences for his sin for the rest of his life here on earth.
