THANK goodness I watched this. I almost didn’t get it correct, the full FBA from your calculation I did, I needed a 1 inch FBA but I didn’t know it needed to be divided by two, IT’S A GREAT THING THOUGH.

"My boobs are somewhere between a solid and a fluid" 😂 Same girl, same! Never heard it put so succinctly 👍 Thanks for the in-depth tutorial! I've always kind of worked out my problems through making and adjusting muslins, so this new information will definitely speed up the process ❤

Your FBA classes are amazing I recommended to All sewists and your patterns are so well fitted

My pattern is an empire style with a waist dart. I have included the side bust dart created by doing the fba.

Absolutely brilliant explanation. I’m helping my friend learn to sew and she needs this adjustment as has a small frame but large boobs. I don’t need this adjustment so we are both learning something very new. Ready to give it a try. Thank you so much x

This video is very helpful, I have drafted my fba by 2", which has dropped my apex, (which I need), and the length of the bodice. My question is how do I alter the back length to match the front now. I have made a toile, but the armscye is tight, I intended to lengthen the back from the bottom of the armhole to above the waist, would that be the correct way to do it? Thanks for your help with this.

When you said to use high bust measurement, my question is do you use that size for entire pattern. I just made the turner dress size 18 for high bust, and size 20 underarm point, and size 24 for waist and hips. Fits great.

What happens when one side is way bigger than the other

You can make an asymmetric pattern instead of having a pattern piece which is cut on the fold. Basically you would trace the pattern piece so that it's a full front piece (rather than a half piece), and then do the FBA differently on either side.
