The logic i think can be applied to any projects: APQP aims at ensuring the quality of the product during the development process by defining clear milestones and deliverables for each phase, incl lessons learned at the end. APQP also defines that certain tools should be used such as FMEA, MSA etc. Those tools are universal and can be applied in any industry, only the requirements that a company need to comply with are different between each industry.
