While l love to learn, sometimes the simpler the better works for me. But l realize it's a fine line that needs to be trod. Loving it all. ❤

What if there is an exo-planet below absolute zero? How will we discover it? I know it seems like a dream or an impossible thing, but any thing can happen in astrophysics right?

hypothetically, if there was an ineffably massive planet which orbited four white suns 3x larger than Stevenson 2-18, had 200 moons and was in the Goldilocks zone of that solar system how many seconds, minutes, hours, days, weeks, months and years would that planet have?

Never let it be said that humans will not hunt how to research things better... I really wish I could have done better in school to go for something heady like Astrophysics.. but with my math, I'd have been laughed out of school. I can only sit from the side lines and look on in amazement and cheerlead. The subject and the power of it to me is almost nigh magic

Same here. Math is my weakest subject. Mainly why I never went to college after high school. I know it would have put me into even more debt having to retake math classes multiple times lol.

A good explanation of astrophysics. My only quibble is that a few times near the end of the video you misused the term "astrological" for the correct "astronomical". Astronomers get very upset when people confuse the superstition of astrology with the science of astronomy.

This is awesome i do love it but i can plainly hear that astrophysicists pretty much speculate their findings because its very possible that we dont have equipment powerful enough to see all light in the spectrum.. wow.. you did do a wonderful job with this explanation tho!!!!!!! @@johndoolan9732 Astrophysics is a science that employs the methods and principles of physics and chemistry in the study of astronomical objects and phenomena. To dumb it down even further, it's the what and how parts of astronomy. Astronomy itself is a very broad subject. The one you'll commonly see deals with the when and where. You may have heard of another field of astronomy called "cosmology." In essence, it deals with the why but to a much greater degree.

Science is one of my interests, astrophysics being one of them, categorically. The many things l wonder myself, like, *) are the stars that are closest, on average, 4 light years apart? *) which two stars are an example of how far our Sun is to the nearest star? *) What two stars can we point to look and say, that star and that star are 4 light years apart, as we are to the nearest star? 😀😉👍🏼

I just figured out why the sun is burning. Its the stuff in space. It has to be gas. If there's no oxygen its because the sun is using it, if it oxygen its because the sun is using it, if its nothing the sun had something its using to burn on. Now dont ask me "well what is it" thats a stupid question. Thats why we're here to figure it out

Start touching up on your math skills. Find some free resources to get you started on improving your math until you reach calculus. Once you get to calculus, take some adult upgrading to get the marks/classes that you need to further your education in an institution. Good luck
@snowgibson18569 ай бұрын
Keep your job and work and save your money for a couple years while you touch up your education then put that towards getting a bachelors in physics or bachelors in astronomy and astrophysics You will need to get your Masters afterwards if you want to get anywhere with this. This will be a 8-10 year long journey. You'll need commitment and passion. Whether you think you can or think you can't. You're right.
