I admire the way this sector of countries (Europe) focuses on consumers and sustainability first. On the other hand, in my country is necessary to give benefits to companies for them to be a B corp, at least in the majority of cases. Like this video, I think skateholders should always win.

@@starburleigh5107 Well its to make sure only businesses that have the highest standards in social and environmental impact are able to become B Corps - its a true achievement when a business is able to become a B Corp. There are some great data driven insights on why being a B Corp creates better businesses, better places to work and have a more positive impact on the Patagonia site. We help many businesses through the process and it's a way to really create bigger impact and show the values you want your business to live by

@@starburleigh5107 80 points sounds like a low number but is actually really tough to get - a business that’s operating at its usual shareholder capitalism self, scores on average around 40-50 points when they first start the assessment. From there, they have to make changes in the way they operate their business, in a transparent and accountable way, in order to increase their score; which is often in increments of 0.1-9. If you are as passionate as you sound about accountability within businesses for their role in the downfall of the planet, I think you should genuinely check it out a bit more, you may be pleasantly surprised.
