Very interesting. I never had any allergies growing up (in the country) but my city cousin was almost incapacitated from birth. I had sensitivities after too much caffeine and sugar in my 20s that went away when I cut back. After getting COVID, I have been battling infinite allergies and happily, have been making progress. I still avoid soy. I hope this helps someone out there.

When i was a child in the 90's, i slept on the grass in my grandma's garden at noon, or in the haystack with my dog, cats and lambs licking my nose, i only washed my hands when my grandma caught me and forced me to do it, like once a day maybe. Never washed our fruits, we only wiped them on our t-shirts. We shared an ice cream with 3-4 friends. We used to swim in country lakes and rivers, playing bare foot in the summer rain, we played in knee deep snow all day long to the point that our clothes, feet and noses got wet during the day and then frozen during the evening. My grandma never used dish soap in her entire life, and nobody got sick eating from her dishes. We even used to catch super small fish and swallow them alive as a challenge 😂😂😂 Never had a problem, besides the occasional winter flu. Nowdays everyone is so nevrotic, over cooking food, sterilizing everything, scrubing their skin away

Increasing population densities, accumulating environmental industrial wastes, and global temperatures are causing more prolific and impactful outbreaks both viral, parasitic, and bacterial..both by promoting rapid growth and by weakening the immune system over time. It's not neurotic to increase safety measures for good health. It ain't 30-40 years ago.

From kindergarten through high school, I was the only kid in my school with a peanut allergy. Now it's bloody fashionable.

This video is highly informative and thought provoking. I am a healthy 76 year old female in the USA and I just developed hives for the first time ever. It disappeared after a few days. I attributed it to drinking too much milk. With our current scare of bird flu crossing over to cows in California I wondered if I got some of the antibiotic given to cows and it interacted with my meds. Pasteurization may remove it or not. 👋👱♀️🇺🇲

I only feel good when I eat nothing 😂 for real. Some foods makes me sweat, some rise my heart rate,, something like eggs will make me hard to breath, like some one gently choking me 😮 oats, not good.

@fainitesbarley2245 meat broth , maybe but not all the time. Im done trying, just pick the foods that make me sick the least,, funny but butter and Cpageti my favourite , trying to avoid bread.. I don't consume any fruits and vegetables, and got used to it. Some vitamin C and I'm good to go.. Turned out we don't need much to exist . People find it hard to believe I have such a poor diet and look healthy..

As a child, I had an allergy to ketchup. It used to be too spicy for me to eat. Id tell my mom it was too hot and she ignored it, saying its not hot. I wonder how many other parents did this, not knowing it meant there was an allergy. Lucky I didn't die. I chose not to eat it after even when she put it on my plate.

Antibiotics raise the risk significantly. Also being born via c section raises the risk of food allergies 9 times higher.

It is not the nuts, it is the animal products. She is blaming the wrong thing. All nuts are very healthy.

I pity uneducated people who unnecessarily avoid nuts and seeds, really depriving the body of very important nutrients.

So supposedly food allergies have “doubled”. Definitely not because of…nuts, lol. Give me a break.🤣

Probably the same as most increasing DX. Partially because of more advanced testing, and partially because of physician kickback$ from pharma companies.

I became allergic to chicken and soy. No more cashew chicken for me. I went anaphylactic at an oriental restaurant.🫤 I was 50 when that happened. At 65 I can't eat chicken without it causing gastro problems. I try eating it a couple times a year hoping I won't have a reaction. And soy makes me bloat and tired. Crazy

I guess it's something they are adding to those foods or now using in their production, that you are allergic to.

I drank soy milk for over three years.I liked it but one day I came out with a terrible rash all over my body which the doctor couldn't explain. He put me on a course of cortisone which cleared it up but he said that it would be back. Not if I could help it!Discovered by a process of elimination that it was soya which was also in my gluten free pasta and bread.Sorted.Coeliacs are about 80 something% likely to be allergic to soya which the doctor was surprised to hear. They can't know everything so it pays to seek a cure yourself.Google is your friend.
