He owns because the land was donated by the people of ladakh.... He dont use it for any business purpose but for the institution he built for people of ladakh, school and university is being built by him... And one thing only those students are eligible who fail in the regular academic institutions .... They are admitted in this school at first priority... I think you didnt knew about so here it is
