Well research it why did the US attack Afghanistan? Because Bin Laden had training camps and were using Afghanistan as a base of operations to murder thousands of Americans. 9/11 right? Okay so the US gov said hey Taliban give us Bin Laden. Taliban said no we love him he kills the Great Satan (America) citizens. That’s why but I’m sure if someone comes to your country murders thousands of your citizens. You would pat them on the back. However there was no reason to go to Iraq. If Saddam was that bad and I believe he was a monster. He could have been killed without invading the nation. But it’s okay I think you will realize one day in the future. That the US wasn’t that bad.

Bin laden was only a small piece of why US invaded (and stayed in Afghanistan) I’m still trying to wrap my head around why US was willing to invade and spend trillions in Afghanistan. A lot has changed since bush but I think they saw it as a way to contain both China and Iran while potentially exploiting the mineral resources there and creating an ally in the region. They were gravely wrong. It was probably the biggest and most expensive US military blunders in history.

@Space Rock Real genocide by the US over its 200+ year history or the alleged genocide by China? Authoritarianism of the US over the rest of the world? Debt traps of the US elites over its own citizens and all over the world? With the US track record of destroying what others build, China will need a lot of luck in helping to rebuild Afghanistan. What did American tax paying citizens get for spending over $2 trillion in Afghanistan - a bunch of crooks who got insanely weathy.

@𝓔𝓱𝓲𝓶𝓪𝔂𝓪 𝓚𝓪𝓾𝓻 yes. 1) cpec. China recently said it has got the evidence of raw involvement in dasu dam project 9 Chinese killing. Thing to be noted thwy had said this earlier before the investigation. This would not have been true if China wasn't really eager about CPEC. This just shows how hateful a common Indian is because of CPEC in Pakistan and development being done in Pakistan. This also shows Indians as a nation don't like muslims, Pakistan and Islamic states. They are just hypocrites trying to get into OIC.... 2) India has not been kept in any regional talks regarding Afganisthan till now despite their 4 consulates bring present in Afghanistan near Pakistan border. Despite their huge diplomatic presence in Afghanistan nobody not USA, Not Russia, Not China, Not Pakistan, Not nobody literally cared India for involving them to talks. It is a kind of foreign policy defeat for India one after another. So, it is evident that other superpowers knows India is not a regional factor in Afghan issue. Then the question arises why all these consulates in Afghan, (which is far more than necessary with a country which does not share a common border and is also a small country) It only means India is the terror spreading country in Afghanistan in the means of Tehric-e-Taliban and taking advantage of Refugees crises in between Afghan-Pak border, including teams of Insurgents into Pakistan while a refugee spike....though this Tehric-e-taliban has no relations with the real Taliban....

If the Taliban and Iran are bitter enemies and the US practically left Afghanistan in a hurry leaving behind military hardwares that can be easily resuscitated, doesn't it seem that the US is indirectly arming and empowering the Taliban as torn on the flesh of Iran. The motto of China is no intervention in other country's internal affair. They explicitly said the Afghan issue should be resolved by Afghan people and like the Russians, the Chinese are hoping for a political peace agreement between the different factions in Afghanistan. The ethnic and cultural situation of Afghanistan is very complex and similar to India at the beginning of independence, imposing a one state one party solution is not realistic to maintain peace. However, seeing the rapid progress of the Taliban, it is obvious that they will be the biggest political force in Afghanistan when all things will be settled down. The Chinese are just preparing the field.

More and more Westerners wise up to the fact while there are big scale incarceration of separatists, and even midly radicalised Uyghurs (as admitted by the Chinese themselves), there are no credible evidences of genocide. Even the US law department acknowledged this fact. In fact, many of the so-called evidences were fake and produced by NED funded NGOs to discredit China. Furthermore, the misuse of the term 'genocide' really insult the memories of all past victims. Anyway, nothing you said will change any of the above facts. When faced with evidences to dedunk the lies, the likes of you will just repeat the same lies over and over again. To be honest, it is funny to see the frustration from the same group of liars when they have to make a hasty retreat with their tails between their legs. A timely advice for you.. Time to make more informed research, and don't let your bias and prejudice against the Chinese cloud your thinking. The Chinese is not interested to take over your country, or the World.. They just want to do more trades, and improve the lives of their own people, which indirectly will also improve the lives of those who worked with them, via trades, infrastructure developments etc. Fair trade (or a slightly lopsided one if you still want to insist) will win over wars and killings any day.

China wants Afghanistan's OPIUM! That's all China has wanted for about 8 THOUSAND YEARS! India/England has wanted it too, but even the Seiks couldn't conquer and maintain control of the Afghans. Read Kipling. Raw opium can be processed into modern fentanyl with a kid's chemistry set, and it's value increased about a million times (gram per gram). Afghanistan also is a huge source of white slaves to the Middle East, about 2 million a year. Men for labor, women and children for labor and sex slaves (and a few men for "ladyboys"). Saudi Arabia, Dubai, Oman, Muscat, Yemen and Ankar are the biggest slave buyers in the World, an estimated 8-12 million yearly from different countries, mostly South East Asia, but other places too.

@@The_verdadero but what we have? UK was our past enemy, France? Nope Only Russia is left but Russia too have their self interest. India is like mix of communism and capitalism like USA and Russia mentality. That's why USA nor Russia trust India on Governance. We need to excel ourselves too strong to become permanent member.
