Yeah, it sucks. Had chronic pain in my right hip since I was 23. Was young and careless, thought I was invincible. Thought it'd go away. It's proceeded to spread through my body, probably due to me changing my posture and over-compensating in other parts of my body. Now pain either radiates down the whole left hand side of my body, or parts of my right hand side (never both) - my knee, or my hip, mostly. Doctors, ten years later, finally decided it was degenerative disc disease, and that's it. Just have to bear with it. Some days it's bearable, others I feel like jumping in front of a bus. I try to stay positive, but there's no doubt that it's had a huge effect on my life. A slow and insidious carving away at my soul, which will inevitably lead me to an early grave or an incredibly bitter and twisted old age.

@@ambroze270 Yeah it really sucks. It's not like I'm after sympathy, but no one can imagine the pain, it's invisible to most people. It can put me in a bad mood sometimes and people can't understand or empathise because they have no idea how uncomfortable it is. Oh well, hopefully we both get better before we get worse..!

@@Cheximus Hi :) While the following is my own invention I don't know if it's safe to use. I have end-of-life pain and have no concern for any long-term side effects. You however are in pain, you're not dying. Please speak with your doctor before trying. I hope this gives you the same pain relief it's presently giving me. The following is a CUT & PASTE, I spread this message to others when I'm moved to do so. Peace "Opinions supporting medical magnets are useless unless part of a well-designed study." I agree. However, I'd like you to consider the following. While we don't have studies to prove their effectiveness we also don't have studies to prove they are useless. I'm a scientist at heart. I'm always experimenting with something. Three years ago I was diagnosed with stage 4 cancer. I refused treatment choosing quality of life over quantity. It's slow-growing cancer in my abdomen. For the last few months, I've been experiencing pain in my spine, middle and lower back. Just recently that pain turned constant and intense. I equate the pain to that of a migraine only it's not in your head but in your spine. I've come to learn if you have pain in your arms or legs, or anywhere in the human body, that pain signal traveled through your spine. I've also come to learn that pain in the body is caused by an inner sweat liquid that is usually only generated through one of the many forms of physical exercise. Go to the gym, work out, the muscles sweat internally, and it's this inner sweat that causes you to experience pain. The inner sweat burns off and you feel normal again. In cases of illness like that of my own, my body is continuously generating sweat liquid probably due to the cancer. I can't say for sure, I'm not a doctor. All I do know is I experience constant pain. I've tried a magnet bracelet. It didn't work. But get this, I know from experience that copper naturally extracts pain liquid from the body. I tried copper but it had little effect perhaps because of the amount of pain I was experiencing. Being the scientist that I am, I combined a magnet bracelet and copper pipe [4-inches in length] together. I attached a flexible magnet bracelet to the outside of the copper pipe holding it in place with elastics. Because all pain travels through the spine, I placed the copper pipe combo against the base of my spine. It stays in place because of the elastic in my clothing or when outside, by my belt. This tool I use 24/7 and without a word of a lie, my pain has been reduced by 90 to 95%. I can move again. I can bend again and it's all almost pain-free. It's given me my life back. I bought the magnet bracelet at a thrift shop and got the 4-inch copper pipe at my local hardware store. Will it work for others? I don't know. Does it work for me? Yes! Are there any negative side effects short or long term? Can't say. Nothing has come to my attention but I'm not concerned. I personally won't be around to find out. Living in constant pain is a life of nausea and no energy for most sufferers. Given the dramatic drop [90%] in my pain, perhaps this combo placed at the base of one's spine should be studied. In the meantime, if you suffer with pain consider becoming a kitchen table scientist like me. It's the kitchen table where some of man's greatest discoveries are made. Peace [I am not a doctor. This is my own experience. I can't guarantee it will work for you. This tool interacting with the energy in your spine could be dangerous. Please speak with your doctor before giving this a try. This is people helping people.]

BAD title. All three of the pain types described here can be chronic. The first pain will continue if you don’t address the cause - for example lower back pain caused by an undiagnosed tumor in the bowel. Too many practitioners will leap to the second and third types just to achieve their primary goal: to get the patient out of the clinic asap.

You're right, and I presume your response is out of frustration and I acknowledge that. But this video is great education for the majority of people who don't experience this every day so they can begin to understand those that do.
