If they go straight with adapting the Platinum version of the teams, most of Gym Leaders and Elite 4 will still retain most of their strength, especially counting new abilities and moves that will be added since the remakes are still gen 8 games. About Cynthia, the only thing that will be weaker about her is her Spiritomb, that will be the victim of a new wave of memes with him getting blasted away in one it by Play Roughs/Moon Blasts.

I genuinely do hope that the gen 4 remakes are actually hard like the previous games. I have been playing SWSH and I have to say it is an amazing game, but the excessive Exp and easy opponents make for a too-easy game. I hope that the next gen 4 remakes that Game Freak makes are as hard as Diamond, Pearl and Platinum, with more, exciting features that will make us want to play the games more. Or that's just my opinion anyway.

the question is what team is she going to be using: her team from Diamond & Pearl where she has Gastrodon or her Platinum team where she has Togekiss (and keep in mind that Togekiss does give her more weaknesses, specifically rock, ice, electric, steel and poison meaning half of her team is weak to ice, unlike with Gastrodon who's only weak to grass and thus only 2 of her member's have a grass weakness)

Actually, Dragon-types are still very strong. Sure Fairy-types exist, but with Dragons having amazing offensives, speed, and decent bulk, along with having one of the widest move pools in the franchise, they can use those factors for their advantages. A lot of Dragon-types can learn Steel-type moves to murder Fairy-types for example. Dragons still hold their own.

i get it has a lot of weaknesses to gym leaders and elite 4 in platinum but i would totally have added a toga kiss, its special attack is super high so is speed hp and has super luck as ability, tied with a scope lens the crit rate is like super high. i dont know the exact math. flamethrower air slash aura sphere and psychic could work and if it could be used as a flyer air slash can be taken out. on showdown togakiss faints a lot of pokemon for me. this is for those who see this 1.5 years after the videos release

from a raw competitive point, the pokemmon didnt complement each other as well as they could have. It would have been better to either build a stall team running a rocky helmet bulky garchomp, a recover flame orb milotic instead of lickitung and leftovers spiritomb. Even if you dont want to go for the stall i would recomend running lucario with a expert belt or life orb and using a set up move, i.e in this case nasty plot and using priority as you currently have none. Finally you have abssolutely no pivot or hazards. Whilst you can't do much about the pivot, roserade is a fabulous spikes and t spikes lead and i would recomend using a sash set with leaf storm, t spikes, spikes and sludge bomb/sleep powder. But overall great vid

Why so? Steven was actually buffed with mega evolution in oras. Just because exp share? You clearly dont catch and train a lot of pokemon do you? Exp share is exactly for that. To have diverse team. There is so much pokemon your main never have to be overleveled its the people who nerf the games choosing to overlevel their pokemon. Im playing now pokemon x and im underleveled. But then im just after abomasnow and i have quite a few pokemon at the same level.
