hi doctor, I have actually gotten braces recently ( a month back) i am 22 years old. I have slight protuding upper jaw and and my teeth are slightly misaligned. My ortho has suggested not to go for tooth extractions as i have skeletal class 3 maloclusion. But all others dentists i have visted in the past few years have always suggested tooth extraction. i am very confused please help me with your valueable advice

Hello ma'am. Actually l had sever TMJ pain with trismus and 2-3 episodes of lock jaw a year ago. When l went to orthodontist, it was diagnosed as crowding, crossbite and anterior deep bite. Following this I'm getting my orthodontic treatment done using mettalic braces since 1 year. But this has changed my facial shape a lot. My face appears tall and cheeks sunken. I'm really worried if my face shape will get back to normal like before or not after the completion of my treatment. Can you please help me with this?

@@SoumyaChoudhary-n6f I also got braces for three months and it strated elongation of my face tha i removed it by my self after three months also have some symptoms of tmj and my dentist denied that it is elongating my face I strated mewing which elps to align jaw and teeth over time and I am not going to wear retainer so my teeth will shift backe to its original position if you are not wearing retainer than don't wear it your old face will return

Yes its correct. For two three days u will feel pain and after that nothing. Dont worry. The aligners are working
