I agree that a video game version of the card game would be better to promote the game. Yugioh Master Duel has done wonders in helping bringing back old players and new players alike. I wish Bandai would follow suit

Honestly I could see them just using the Vital Bracelet or the original Digital Monster for a Digivice if it isn't their phone. A part of me suspects we'll get a basic Sim in the next Story game and then we'll get a more complete stand-alone Sim after that whips up interest.

Ah so it is a webcomic. Must have missed that. I saw it was tcg related, which was curious. Is this going to have the card game in the comic like how tamers interpreted it? Will be interesting to see.. still hoping for an anime this year

I have the feeling it's going to be similar to Digimon next. In next, they had a vr simulator that allowed them to battle Digimon against other people, before the main characters get dragged into the digital world proper to save it. I'm picturing that the main characters are fans of the card game who play the game on a virtual simulator ( ironic since we don't have one yet) until they are dragged into the digital world. Then it will take cues from yugioh and have children saving the digital word with their card game skills.

im hoping the new digimon from 2023 and liberatos are in the next story game with the rosters cyberslueth/hackers memmory plus digimon world next order roster with more digimon like blackseraphimon , bemmon
