Joel's comments about work is very spot on. Players are only human and they'll have their off days because of how the environment they're in is affecting them. Take the money etc out of the equation and look at it from a human level. No amount of renumeration can force a person to operate at 100% every day of the week at work if they're inside their own heads a lot. That requires more to help with than a general rondo drill or 80k fans singing your name to get you in a healthy mindset.

Liverpool's start to Klopp's third season was not great. You were hard on De Ligt, but he's already proved he's going to come good for us. Rashford isnt good enough, Maguire never was or will be, shaw had 2 good seasons the rest were either poor or in a hospital bed, Onana is crap and no one ever says how if we would have kept our word and gave De Gea an extension or new contract we would be in a way better position, Bruno whom I love and is my fav player on the team uunfortunately doesnt fit the style we're trying to achieve and is past it im afraid, and thats without mentioning the fringe or bench players. The argument about Palmer, Saka and Foden is rubbish!... first you consider the syster and the structure with which the players are involved in.. In Arsenal the game goes through Odegaard 99% of the time.. The style is to isolate Saka because we know when he's on the ball, he draws mpre players to his side than when martinelli has the ball.. this approach creates space for the other side othe pitch for us to capitalize on... How many wingers made same movement with the edge of the box like saka does ? even in tight space !.. he gets the through pass because Odegaard has that technical ability!.. without Odegaard, how many of those passes have you seen go to Saka ? In Chelsea, the game goes through Palmer and because he likes to come in even if he started from the wing because the system Maresca implements accomondate him to do that which then enables him to be more on the ball and dictate the pace!.. Gaurdiola system makes you maintain your position, trust the player on the ball to find you.. don't distrupt Guardiloa's system by trying to improvise!.. Dem 3 players are playing to the system they are involved in and the ability for them to play outside of the system is what's best explain their greatness and we can see that in the Enland national team
