the part about the "sea" is very interesting because people often refer to Pisces as the "ocean" metaphorically, but I've always seen Pisces as "space" and ironically enough, it sounds like that tracks.

Thank you for this great information and talk. I would like to share my readings about ether from a Turkish/Kurdish scholar Bediuzzaman Said Nursi who lived around 1. world war in Turkey: Ethereal matter Bediuzzaman gives considerable space to subjects like ether, the nature of which is debated in scientific circles. He states that the universe is not empty, but full of matter called ether which transmits electricity, heat and light: “It is established by science and philosophy that this infinite space is not an endless vacuum, but filled with matter they call ‘ether’… Some matter fills space which is the bond of the laws of the lofty bodies like the laws of attraction and repulsion, and is the transmitter and diffuser of the forces in matter like light, heat, and electricity.” He discusses ether in one respect as a refined ink in which the beings in the universe are written, and in another, as a seed-bed: “The matter known as ether, which is ……a refined ink for the Glorious Maker’s writing, a most fine raiment for His creating, a leaven of His artefacts, and a tillage for His seeds….” “After the matter ether had been created, it became the center for the manifestations of the Maker’s first creations. That is to say, after creating the ether, He transformed it into atoms.” According to Bediuzzaman, the origin of atoms is the matter ether…. He accepts that it frequently changes its form: “Ether, which is matter that is material, unbounded and numerous, is the least stable level of existence and the least tangible, the most changing and the most varying, and the most dispersed through space…” He states that the stars in space are within the ether and that all space is filled with it: “…of millions of globes and stars thousands of times larger than the globe of the earth some have been made in part stationary in the matter known as ether, which is subtler than air, while others have been made to travel in part as their duty.” “In regard to beings, the matter ether penetrates between them like a flowing liquid… Ethereal matter, on condition it remains as ether, has different states and is of different sorts. Like steam and water and its different states.”71 Bediuzzaman also says that the seven heavens are made from this ether: “Indeed, just as three sorts of things, gas, liquid, and solid, occur from the same matter, like steam, water, and ice, so too there is nothing to reasonably prevent there being seven levels of ethereal matter; there is no reason for it to be objected to…. The All-Powerful and Glorious One created the seven heavens from the matter ether, and arranging them set them with an extremely fine and wonderful order, and sowed the stars in them.”72 Bediuzzzaman states that ether is so fine that a Qur’an could be written with its particles on an atom: “…Rather that matter’s particles, which are far smaller than an atom…” “If a Qur’an was written by the Pen of Power with particles of ether on an atom..” Bediuzzaman’s views concerning ether may be summarized like this: 1. Ether is the tillage and origin of the atoms and elements. 2. The matter ether is so fine a Qur’an could be written in its particles on an atom. 3. The stars which form the galaxies swim within ethereal matter. 4. Ether is extremely fine and fluid and enters between everything like water. It even fills the space between the nucleus and electrons of an atom. 5. Ether carries out the duty of transmitting and diffusing forces like light, heat, and electricity, and acts also as the bond of the laws of attraction and repulsion.

The four states of matter Earth (solid), Water (fluid), Air (gas), Fire (plasma), are made of elementary particles, and elementary particles are essentially condensed Aether. So, Aether is the fifth state of matter, the quintessence. For proper Alchemy we need Aether sound waves: longitudinal waves that pass through the Aether, which can transmute the chemical elements. Aether sound waves are much faster than visible light, have much higher frequency, carry much higher energy and much more information than the transverse electromagnetic Aether waves.

Aether is the space in which all is contained and it is the minute space between the cells within the body and the space between the density of the atoms. More subtle than aether is mind , more subtle than mind is the intelligence and even more subtle than the intelligence is the ahankar or ego identity, more subtle than all these elements is the conscious soul / atma . The soul animates these elements and God animates our soul. This is explained in the 7th chapter of the Bhagavad Gita.

Maybe we can say in sync with the natural frequency of the universe as a reaction, like traveling in the longitudinal waves of ether. But this is distracting the being from understanding/focussing/knowing the ether itself. The control of consciousness and focussing it is too difficult which many big yogis and sages fail to do. This happens in a click and the next moment it vanishes. That clarity is something when we feel whole and we say we are complete but we can't focus it for long let lone the "being that" part.

I recommend checking out Ken Wheeler. He is a bit of an ego trip and talks in circles sometimes but he's and expert on magnetism and he is one of the best translators of ancient Greek. If you can get past some of the wacky personality he really is a wealth of knowledge in understanding what people call either. He is a scientist and a translator so it is an interesting mix. He very confidentiality claims modern science is wrong about their understanding of energy and either and of course champions Tesla.

@@jessicaveylan4265 His interpretation is erroneous. He ignores the fact that the ferrofluid is being illuminated by lights and what we see is a form of refraction. The magnetic field alters the shape of the thin layer of ferrofluid. It is not a hologram. It has to do with how the ferro cell is constructed. But that's not to say that Ken isn't correct when it comes to other ideas. A pumpkin better describes the shape of the magnetic field. Or an apple. The rotation motion is perpendicular to the poles like an inflating mushroom cloud. Trees grow in a similar way. Nikola Tesla has an interesting patent for a water fountain that illustrates the idea.

The comparison between atoms orbitals and planetary orbits is actually wrong. Electrons don't rotate around the nucleus of the atom, instead they exist around the nucleus as a sort of "cloud of probability" (It's difficult to describe in simple terms, okay?) Besides that, amazing video!

Lol... This young man hates the ancient ever enduring concept of the firmament (raqia/sterioma). Every ancient culture/tribe had this same understanding/Revelation: Greeks, Hebrews, Egyptians, Romans, Babylonians, Persians, celts, Norse, Assyrians, Hindus, Chinese, Aztecs, Mayans, Incas, whatever... The firmament is a crystalline ceiling or vault of the heavens above us. Firmament is usually described as a sea of glass or lapis lazuli pavement or crystalline vault of the heavens. The firmament is usually described as 7 layers or levels (7 heavens) just as our skin has 7 layers and is a "house" for the rest of our body parts/organs/etc... The firmament is a house/roof/tent for the terra firma, seas, and air gasses, and sun and moon. The firmament is probably a perlite like substance which is volcanic glass which people use to hold moisture in the soil for gardening. We have Gas pressure which means that we have a ceiling and live in a physically enclosed system. We have a precipitation cycle which means we live in an enclosed system. This KZbinr takes issue with the concept of firmament unfortunately. He was choking up and embarrassed to even talk about the concept. He has some strong Pharisaic/Jesuit tendencies to disregard truth for his own tradition. Don't forget about that proverbial glass ceiling. We also know that quartz crystal is the best way to regulate frequency and oscillations in nature... Hence why Japanese company Seiko introduced a watch with a lithium ion battery an oscillator and formed a piece of quartz crystal into the shape of a tuning fork. That quartz keeps the frequency of the second, minute, and hour hand very consistent. Seiko launched a much more consistent and reliable timepiece than say the German and Swizz competitors which used spring loaded watches. Seiko copied the heavens and realized the sun moon and stars/zodiac where a beautiful creation timepiece in the heavens.

Interesting question. From what I've studied of gnosticism, the ether is not mentioned. However, if we were to throw the concepts into the same bag, I'd say the ether is the medium, but not the creation. The ether would've "predated" the demiurge. So although the demiurge used it to make material existence, it did not create it.

@@rareone5041 Hmm, also a curious question. Again, shifty grounds because you're mixing understandings from different traditions. If we take on an animistic perspective, everything has consciousness, so the question is inert. But if we were to imply that human consciousness is the end all be all, and suppose that spinoza and other such thinkers are correct in assuming that the subjective makes the objective world, then yes. The demiurge would need the blinded celestial adam (humanity) to perpetuate the material existence. This is also tricky though, because the demiurge has the stolen light (consciousness) but it's unclear if this possession of it means that the demiurge is conscious or it has the capability of using the power of consciousness. But in this understanding of the story of the garden of eden, the demiurge says that if the fruit of the tree is eaten, that he "would become like us," however we choose to interpret that. Sorry, messy answer, but that's the nature of it I suppose.
