Love your content. I'm subscribed, have given you a lot of likes, and look forward to more. I have a piece of feedback, in case it's useful. (Disregard if not.) I find it distracting how often you say "ah" -- often several times a sentence. I know it's unconscious. You can train yourself to do it less the same way women are trained to stop turning up their pitch at the end of a sentence. You record yourself speaking normally, then play it back and listen for the unconscious habit you're trying to change. Then you go back and say it over again without the habit. It takes some effort, but it does work. Just FYI. I won't stop watching if you don't.

Thanks Cat! and appreciate you watching the videos! Also appreciate the feedback on the 'ah's - a bad habit of mine I must admit. Must train myself to eliminate the umms and ahhs as they definitely can prove irritating for listeners. Bear with me though if it takes a while to get out of the habit :)

Even though Christian scripture is originally jewish based, the questions of the origins of evil is different in contemporary Judaism which introduces the argument of humans having 2 souls in endless fight, the animal soul and the inherently good soul versus Christianity's blaming every evil on Satan which deflects individual responsibility in my pov and makes no sense. Along with the concept of original sin, I see them as very degrading, extremely pessimistic and what Nietzsche called as "slave morality" in regards to the Bible's supposed virtues even though throughout history, humility, kindness and compassion weren't even followed explicitly by the church's followers and the leaders it appointed in God's name.

Quite so Josh. Must admit I haven't read much Nietzsche - thanks for reminding me to put him on my reading list. Absolutely amazing how far Christianity has removed itself from the dogmas of Judaism despite both believing in the Jewish prophets and retaining the Old Testament

In short, Romans was wright when they identify Christianity as "superstitio" and not a religion.
@FlaviusClaudiusJulianus3612 жыл бұрын
Certainly many of the Christian beliefs like a 'fallen angel' Satan, a 'son of God' , judgment day etc went completely off at a tangent to the judaism it sprang from.
@rutrem092 жыл бұрын
@@FlaviusClaudiusJulianus361 yes, but also the judaism, at least if you take in concideration The Old Testament, is faar from a religion, is more a history of a tribe, and then a family, with religious storys taken from elswhere to give it the apparence of an religion.
@FlaviusClaudiusJulianus3612 жыл бұрын
@@rutrem09 Quite so. It remains the only race based religion/community around - and in which the Scriptures confidently pronounce Jews as the 'chosen people'.
