Article 1 of Indian Constitution say that India, that is, Bharat shall be the union of states. From Ancient times, India was known as Bharat. But During British colonial times it was largely referred as India. Hence during Independence from Britishers, Constitution makers named it Bharat again. But to avoid any confusion to the world, they wrote both the names in the constitution.

@artculture1711 Жыл бұрын
@@Snehas5768k FTAs are good. But one must recognise their shelf life .. they are not a 'forever' deal. Moreover, one must spend ample time in negotiating the deal that is beneficial to both sides. Bad negotiation makes the deal imbalanced & exploitative. India should extract maximum mileage out of Europe when they are more in the need. But also keep some things on table so as to make sure wars in the region are not incentivised. Countries on the brink & dwindling trade & economy, opt for wars.

@@Theactualstoic Yes, in English it's Germany. In French it's Allemagne, in Italian it's Germania, in Spanish it's Alemania, and so on. People in those other countries use their own names for Germany. They don't use Deutschland. Asking the rest of the World to use Bharat for India, would be a similar situation. Most of the world doesn't know this word, Bharat, and it sounds and looks nothing like India. At least the Persian word for India makes more sense, 'Hindustan,' the land of the Hindus.

And in future "India" will be renamed to "Bharat" officially.

The downfall of Silicon Valley Bank has caused significant damage to the worldwide financial markets. As a result, investors are scrambling to revise their projections for interest rate increases and hastily selling off bank stocks across the board. As someone who has invested 200k in stocks, I find myself at a pivotal moment, wondering whether it's wise to cash out my depreciating portfolio. What strategies should I adopt to make the most of this bearish market?
@user-dl4rr5qs8y Жыл бұрын
The recent events with SVB make it unlikely for the market to make significant gains soon, so it's wise to manage expectations and prepare for a potentially long recovery period. It's recommended to avoid making significant investment decisions until the economic environment stabilizes in areas of concern. It's best to exercise caution and avoid engaging with the current turbulence
@olgageorgsen9654 Жыл бұрын
A steadfast commitment to reputable companies requires either holding steady during market downturns or increasing investments during such times. This strategy is based on the fundamental belief that well-managed enterprises will eventually rebound with renewed strength. On the other hand, investors seeking long-term profits through stock appreciation should seek guidance from a FA to identify opportune entry and exit points. My own experience during the pandemic highlights the value of working with an investment advisor, which resulted in a significant gain of $530k in just 8 months.

The classical factors of production are land, labor, capital, and entrepreneurship. When other countries want to invest in Bharat, they bring in capital, technology, and entrepreneurship. Bharat insists on using its only resource - labor (technical manpower) for its bargain in a FTA.

One of the downside of the FTA is the reduction or stagnation of the customs revenue. Sometimes an FTA works out to the advantage of on country only. Recently, Piyush Goyal publicly complained that on account of the FTA with South Korea, India’s trade deficit has increased and India has not been able to export much to South Korea. Fraudsters also take advantage of FTA with a particular country to bring into India Chinese goods in the garb of the goods of the partner country. This is common under the FTA with Sri Lanka. Lastly, your choice of Bharat over India is laudable.👏🏻👏🏻
