Again, had many microphone issues but managed to get it done. Sorry if my voice is a bit loud! I could have added more to this video but had to prioritize the main stuff to keep the video from being movie length. I've given the Carrot Master some attention since this video and his attacks have been improved a bit. Wish I could have added clips into this video of those changes but its too late! Also rebalanced the damage of some weapons VS some monsters like Dtech Railgun since making this video, because it was a tad strong... I'm going to try and fit absolutely everything else left to cover (especially items) into the next video so be ready for that! Enjoy!

4.2 is designed for balance on both sides. The players don't become so powerful they can one shot anything. It also don't rely on a lot of laggy effects.

I think that the vexed kids can have weaker defenses and high attacks, because they spawn after the death of nemesis (I don't know if you are going to change that), so it makes sense, and 2 nemesis kids is a good challenge even alone, because on T7 you will have most of the defenses to deal with these dudes. So excited to try this mod. All these balance changes just add a lot to replayability, and I absolutely love the progression. That being said, I've got a few questions: 1. There's the death counter at the top corner that I've seen in your other videos. Is this a part of the mod? If yes, will it work properly even with savestates? 2. Not really fond of the anime characters that's been in clusterfuck, and I always disable them. Are they necessary for tier progression? 3. Does God Complex still require loading tons of files in a certain order? It's always been pretty annoying. 4. Which version of Zandronum is required for God Complex? 5. Any wads you recommend to play with this mod? Personal picks, of course. Nevertheless, it's been fun seeing how things evolved from the original Complex Doom, and it really looks like God Complex might be the peak of this entire lineup of crazy mods. Great job, UV!

The death count works properly with save states. Does not work online tho. Anime characters aren't removed but they spawn less, everyone likes different things. They are not necessary but idk if disabling them works anymore Load order is chonky Zan 3.1 preferred, 3.0 might be okay Bloodstain is one of my favourites but it does have some rough starts. i think i seen like , 2 ways of getting a Marauder spawn i belive , 1 was natural Spawn , 2 was by killing a Legendary Doggo , this one is pretty nice becuz , Legendary doggo actually Marauder doggo at this point so killing it mean u just kill his dog and he want Vengence , so i think about make him doesn't disappear when u don't have the power that u needed to fight him , make that he basically all out Full power at you if u killed a Legendary Doggo (love that 90s song btw

As someone who already has plenty of trouble with base Complex Doom, I look at this and think "Good lord, how the hell do you keep up with all this shit?"

For me it's easier than base Complex Doom since it's balanced so you deal more damage and move faster right from the start. There's also more powerups and you spawn with a Shield Sphere at the start of every map, which is a bindable item that shields you for like 8 seconds or something. By the time you're fighting some of these ridiculous monsters you'll have strong weapons and a lot of items at your disposal

This mod is an amazing work! keep it up! I wonder if you could add wheel selection menu (like in project Brutality or Doom: Ethernal)? This would make the gameplay more dynamic as you could analyse enemies and select the optimal weapon without mashing "Weapon type" button multiple times in order to select it

You've clearly put a lot of work into making this more accessible and palatable for newcomers which is awesome, but have you considered making a tutorial map in the same vein as Hideous Destructor's Bootcamp that explains how the progression system and items and different weapon types work for the layman who might not see these videos to cover the complexity (heh) of the mechanics? Or do you think the systems are intuitive enough to understand that you don't feel the need for something like that?

I guess u already heard a lot of questions about tier system in multiplayer, but ill ask anyway. How progression will work in multiplayer in any ways? Is this progression locks on one player or it locks to a server? Also what about Nemesis Sentient ability to revive mobs in enraged form all around the map-i dunno if this feature was in april fools addon or in vanilla CF-but still. Is it got nerfed or is it still that redicilous?

Progression is kinda locked to the server. It's a bit of both really. Nem Sentient doesn't have mass resurrect anymore at all. I might give it something else like the Nem Cyber

Your argument for having level-up bosses for co-op sounds good on the face of it, but remember that other players may not be at the same level as the player levelling up. If one guy reaches Tier 7 to get a Vexed Gatekeeper mob, and some guy who only just joined recently is only like Tier 2 or something, they're gonna have a really rough time.

Reversing controls has been a thing in CF for a long time, but it's not that bad. All you have to do is hold backwards on your keyboard to go forward and aim with your mouse (it doesn't reverse mouse controls)
