Let's talk about the Justin Timberlake being arrested situation. He seems to be on a downward spiral recently but I think it all started a few years back!

Not that it picked up as much traction as the Britney Spears stuff, but people relooking at the Superbowl disaster with him and Janet Jackson didn't help either. If I'm not mistaken, people woke up and realized that Justin really did come out of that situation unscathed, while Janet Jackson was blackballed from the industry. I think this together with the Britney Spears thing made people think twice about Justin, and how much he got away with over the years.

Watching as I type this. (5 mins. in) I listened to Britney Spear's audio book read by Michelle Williams, if I remember correctly, because it was to hard for Britney to read it all aloud herself. She explains this in the opening of the audio. I cried the entire book for what she went through since she was introduced to the public. Britney should never apologize for telling her truth and experience but she is such a gentle soul that I am not surprised she did. As for Timberlake, I was never a fan of him, even in the days of the boy bands period. He just didn't catch my interest. Also Robert saying 'weed' set me off. 😂🤣 "Whheeeeddd"

People refuse breathalyzers hoping enough time passes between being arrested and having blood drawn hoping that their BAC drops significantly.
@AKbaby89
@AKbaby89 3 ай бұрын
2:23 So in the US, it is actually illegal in most states to refuse a breathalyzer test, and the person will get a charge just for refusing (this is not in every state, i know theres a few where this isnt true) AND theyll be tested anyways once the police can get a warrant for their blood. So in the US, it really is in the persons best interest to just take the test, especially considering how many DUI cases get plead down to a wreckless driving charge, or get thrown out after someone finishes treatment and stuff like that. Refusing the testing is showing your noncompliance, and with the US police system, its always in your best interest to comply. BUT also everyone should actually learn about their rights, because in the hundreds of arrest videos ive watched, i have yet to see someone say "i know my rights!" Who actually, accurately, knows their rights. Most people in the US dont know a single right, theyre misinformed about everything they think they know.

first of all, i do feel for anyone struggling with addiction. i have people in my family and circle of friends who are sober (one of them just hit 20 years, i'm so proud), it's no joke, it's a real disease and people do deserve compassion for the suffering they go through because of it. HOWEVER, and this is something any sober person will tell you, none of the hurt and suffering they cause on others is justified because of it. the disease explains why they act recklessly and lash out and do stupid things and even hurt people, but it doesn't justify it. if it did, making amends wouldn't be such a big part of recovery programs. it's about accountability. you can feel bad for justin because he's struggling and wish him the best and that he gets help, while also holding him accountable for his actions and criticizing tha bad things he does and the terrible decisions he makes. if you can't make good choices while under the influence, you shouldn't use. period. so that leads me to: he admitted on a 10yo interview (with oprah, no less) that he has a drinking problem, saying that he drank a whole bottle of whiskey at one point. he also publicly blamed cheating on his wife on alcohol. so he *knows* he has a problem, and he absolutely could afford to never get behind a wheel for the rest of his life, but he chooses to drive after having not one drink, but unquestionably more than "one martini". if you know you have a problem that puts other people at risk and you choose to do nothing about it despite having all the resources to take care of it that most people do not have, you're an asshole, and you'll get what's coming to ya. simple as that. besides, people have no obligation to forgive you for the shit you put them through while you're using. you can sure ask, and they're sure free to do so, but they don't have to, specially if they're strangers who randomly ended up on your path of self destruction and got caught up in it as collateral damage, which could easily happen when your operating a machine that weighs 4 tons while intoxicated. plus all of the abusive and sleazy shit he's been pulling on women. and on top of it all, he's stupid af. i mean, seriously, if you're not gonna avoid driving to spare strangers from the risk you chose to take, at least do it to spare yourself from possible bad consequences (like lawsuits and, idk, being a killer??) and embarrassment? (not saying it's better or okay to do it just for that reason, just that i can't deal when these people are not only assholes but also seem to be dumb. it adds insult to injury)

There are good reasons to refuse a drug test at the car. For example if you have been smoking some days before, and cops would still find you "guilty" even though you're not even under the influence. With racial profiling and other injustices, it can sometimes be good to have that right. They might take you to a police station to do the drug test there tho.

He was flirtatious and inappropriate with other women while married to his current wife(which he had his PR team post his 'apology' for) after video footage was released, he did a freaking number on Britney(to be fair, this was not just on him she had been through alot) and now he is drinking(more than 1 martini girl) and then driving drunk while having all the resources available to get a safe ride home. then the first thing he said(apparently) was how this was going to ruin his tour. wow. how about thank God you didn't ruin a life by killing someone while driving drunk(while maybe having other substances in his system... 👀). i just have had it with this man, he has had multiple chances to redeem himself. that being said, i hope he does learn his lesson from this. sometimes it takes hitting rock bottom. no one is perfect and people make(multiple) mistakes. that's just my two cents. i know hard core JT fans ain't gonna like this comment and are about to yell at me! lol.👀

ETOH breath is a real thing. It comes from the lungs as the body is ridding itself of the excess it can't metabolize. Diacetic acid is the compound responsible for the odor by the process of oxidation. The more ETOH and shorter the time from drinking, the more diacetic acid (alcohol vapor) is expelled subsequently increasing the BAC percentage. As far as the legal stuff goes, I don't know a thing except that most states have 0.08% as their DWI point

To my understanding, you can refuse a breathalyzer test when you are pulled over. They will then take you to a police station and do a blood alcohol test. Some refuse on the side on the road to "sober up" on the way to the police station.

Most out in the field sobriety tests are not admissible in court which is why they always make you do the in station versions. Many dui lawyers advise their clients to refuse those for that reason. Lots of states are implied consent stated tho so if you refuse the field tests they can automatically hit you with certain punishments because you’ve agreed to take them by registering for a state’s license or in some states using their roads

I feel bad for Jessica Biel, seems like he’s put her through a lot. It’s sad. What’s almost worse is the media DEFENDING him. If this was Britney Spears…. It’s sick how different this would be. Chris cuomo said on the news ‘it’s not about the facts’ w/ DWI!! He said the worst part of this is the media in the community his daughters live. HOW SELFISH! You’d think you wouldn’t want drunk drivers where your daughters live.

He seems like one of those IRL used to be popular high school boys who peaked and a decade or two later still think of themselves as better than everyone and party way past the point of cute to relive their glory days but everyone else has moved on and just thinks they are sad. I think he needs a reality check. He was know for his charisma. Use it to his advantage and be a tv personality. Personally I think the last thing he did that was he was great was the Facebook movie. Maybe he can sober up and play a washed up superstar in a gritty new show. Honestly that’s his best hope. Or host a talk show or be a judge on one of the many talent shows.

The detailed descriptions in police reports are pretty standard. It seems kind of weird, but that's how they have to write them. Speaking as an OTR trucker who spends many hours a week on the road, I can tell you that the vast majority of car drivers (truckers call non-truckers "four wheelers" lol) are on their phones, usually holding them in their laps. From the vantage points of our trucks, we can see everything people are doing in their cars. It's alarming but it feels like a futile problem at this point. It's also very disturbing, the number of truckers who are on their phones and HOLDING the phones (this is very much illegal and they are risking their whole livelihoods when there are great phone mounts for trucks). It only takes a split second to take someone's life. If a trucker causes a deadly accident this way, it means automatic prison time. It's a crazy gamble to take. EDIT: As far as not doing the breathalyzer, it's often advised that the person not to do that at the scene. This means the BAC will be lower once you get to the police station/ hospital if you have to submit to other types of tests, like a blood test. It also can mean the difference between a suspended license, whether or not a person blows at the scene. In the US, the DUI/ DWI laws vary by state.
