FYI Logan is your 1st cousin twice removed! Imagine two ladders side by side: First cousins are on the same rung. Children are the next rung down, grandchildren another rung down. Your son and Justine would be second cousins, your son and Logan would be second cousins once removed. This is something my grandmother taught me; no one else in the family really understands it. I became fascinated by the concept when I was reading Georgette Heyer who wrote about noblemen caring for VERY distant cousins, for instance 2nd cousins ten times removed. The easiest thing is to just say “we’re cousins”!!!!

We have doves who nest every year in our orange tree here in Tucson. We love watching them and they usually have two sets of eggs. Thanks for not removing their nest!!

We have to doves that built a nest and are now laying on the eggs in a aloe vera pot on the patio. Had to build some extra scrubs for them because they were scared when walking by. It worked, momma dove likes the extra scrub, she's sitting, and I feed her, when I feed all birds in yard. Great time! enjoy, my friends....

Love birds, nests, eggs, Spring!❤ Good to hear your eye is restored - what a trip & chance it was diagnosed and fixed! Believe me, that isn’t always the case. Speaking of vegetables and eyes, my sister was recently diagnosed with macular degeneration in both eyes with one of them having the “wet” (and worse) type. Long story short, the main treatment for this disease (which is very common) is to consume vegetables! 😄

I’m so glad that you decided to let the birds live with y’all!😊 I’m also thrilled that Joey’s eyesight is no longer impaired. I also truly believe it’s probably from the way that you’ve been eating that you’ve been feeding your body what it needs taking all those vitamins in and living right. I watch the two of you all the time and I just feel like you’re part of my family, it’s funny because when I go to talk to people a lot of times I tend to want to tell how you all are doing and then I remember they don’t even know you because I feel so close to you. A cousin is a cousin to me....and their kids are cousins. (I don't mess with technicalities like 3rd cousins twice removed nonsense.) So, if Logan is your cousin's son, I don't think that makes him a nephew...since he's not your sister's son. Just saying!
